Needs Work on Galaxy SIII I like this player. It is still my favorite, mainly because I can isolate what folder to look for music in. This player has worked great on all of my phones until the Galaxy S3. Now there is a good 20-second delay between songs. I will gladly change my feedback when/if this issue is addressed.
Finally a simple music player! Most of the other players out there have such a cluttered feel, thank you! There are just 4 things that would make this app perfect: 1. Whenever I change songs/do anything there's a very loud 'click' (which I'm guessing is from the system settings). An option to turn the click off would be great. 2. An option to turn off the lock screen while the player is... playing.. (have the controls as the lock screen). 3. A volume slider on the lock screen controls. 4. Don't full display long artist names in menu
I have some issues I am not able to play songs from my home network, including my DLNA Buffalo NAS. Also, I am unable to use the forward/reverse function on my Rocket fish Bluetooth headset, this works with all other android (free) players I have used. The only advantage I have found with this app is the Art Work. If it is my ignorance that has caused me not to succeed in my efforts, please advice me as to how I may succeed.
How the heck are the albums sorted? I LOVE the book of this music player. However, if you sort by artist and then albums, the albums are not sorted alphabetically/numerically and it annoys me so much. There doesn't seem to be any basis on how it is sorted, so I can't tweak my album titles to make it sort a certain way. If you just sort by albums (w/o regard for the artist), it is alphabetical. Can you please make albums sort alphabetically when I choose to sort first by artist --> albums? And if possible, can you please add a view lyrics feature? Other than that, perfect. I love the white background instead of the popular black.
Remembers play position but crashes I bought this on recommendations that it stores play position bookmarks which is essential when listening to audio books (why don't all players build this in!?) which is why it gets 3 stars. So far it has been absolutely fine on my Galaxy S3 apart from it's inability to run in the background when using Google Maps and it's irritating propensity to crash on occasion (for which I would have uninstalled it if it weren't for it's audiobook bookmarking). When it crashes, it just stops playing and says it's an ongoing process, but when I load the app to see what's going on, it exits and re-starts. Very Annoying.
Xperia t Very disappointing not stable if you lock screen or go to do anything else on phone it stops the song. Pity cause the one thing I do like about apple is the music player and this mimics the look well but sadly not the stability
Layout fix for newer devices.
