Just thought I'd put in a good word for this app since it seems to have fewer reviews than the other BMPCC apps in the store. I was looking for an app that would allow me to set the focus and start/stop recording remotely, as I film all of my videos by myself, and I needed a way to perform these functions while I was sitting in front of the camera. I chose this app because it is one of the newer BMPCC apps available on Android, and judging from when the latest update was rolled out, it seems that it is being actively maintained, unlike many of the other apps in the Play Store. I particularly like how I can quickly set the sensitivity of all the focus controls, as it makes it very easy to make broad adjustments when I'm initially dialing in the focus, and then make tiny adjustments when I'm trying to nail the exact focal plane that I want. This app also supports automated focus racking with the press of a button, which should open up some neat possibilities. Although I really only cared about the focus and recording features, I quickly tested out all of the other functionality of the app, and everything seems to work quite well. I initially had some trouble connecting my camera to the app, but it turns out I just didn't have location services enabled on my phone (which for some reason is a requirement of Android OS for apps the use the Bluetooth protocol). One last thing that I appreciated about this app is that it has a free demo version available so that you can get an idea of whether the app will interface with your camera properly. Highly recommended!

The app has the same menus as my bmpcc4k. This app may have saved me from needing to buy an iPad to control the camera with the official app! If the developers are listening, I would also like the ability to trigger either record or snapshot using an AB Shutter device, a presenter mouse etc. I'd buy the app again if it could do that. EDIT: I'm an idiot; it was my AB shutter that wasn't working. Works for stills but not for video (it immediately stops).

Pretty good app with lots of features and good design. One thing missing is you can't nickname cameras for easy switching if you wanna slate multiple cameras and also the switch is a bit buggy, when I disconnect and try to connect to the other cameras it gets stuck at connecting and I have to cancel and retry at least 3 times to get it to sync settings. Other than that pretty good for slating or focus pulling.
