Still needs improvement I love bmo. I have for years. I even enjoy going in and talking with the staff, who are super, super friendly. But c'mon guys. Let's get with it. No mobile deposit, or fingerprint scan sign in? I know that you guys are by far the last bank to get all the new tech, but this is getting a little ridiculous now. Please upgrade with some new tech!
No Mobile Deposit and fingerprint log in BMO you have been very consistent in being the last among the banks when it comes to technology. Banks like Tangerine and PC are going to take over a lot of your customers. CIBC has mobile deposit for years, Samsung pay and fingerprint for Android.
This app is way behind the standard that other banks in Canada offer. My main concern is that it does not have the ability to scan and deposit cheques. I just moved to an area where the nearest branch or ATM of any sort is 70km away, so lack of this feature is a huge inconvenience. I am in the process of switching banks.
Garbage The fact bmo still does not have the ability to scan checks and deposit them is pathetic. I am seriously considering changing banks as every other bank has this feature and your app is the exact same thing as viewing bmo on the website. Utter trash.
To everyone wanting check deposit This is what they emailed me: I wish to advise that we do not have an expected launch date for photo cheque deposit, and are still evaluating options. I'm sincerely sorry for the inconvenience this may cause. As soon as we have determined a start time for this service, we will be sure to advise you.
No mobile deposit Pretty much the main reason for using a banking app, and BMO missed it. Also generally, why does BMO max out with 6 character passwords? This whole company seems way behind the times.
