About this app

The Driver’s Guide is a vehicle-specific* Owner's Handbook for selected BMW models**.

When using this system for the first time, you require an Internet connection. Once you have entered the vehicle identification number (VIN) the Owner's Handbook that matches your vehicle is downloaded and is then also available without an internet connection. Within the Driver's Guide you can manage a number of vehicles.

Find out about the benefits of your vehicle with the complete Owner's Handbook, a Picture Search or explanatory animations. The better you know the vehicle, the less effort you need when driving.


Depending on the specific vehicle, all or a selection of the following content is available to you:
- The complete Owner's Handbook.
- Brief instructions.
- A search by topics.
- A search by pictures to find functions.
- Explanatory animations.

This version of the app does not open up as it tells me my username or password is incorrect. (They are both correct) However, the Apple version of this app works fine on my iPad. This android app worked ok until the update on the 14th Feb. BMW must be aware of this and could have reverted to the previous version of the app while they work on a permanent fix. Very poor show.

I've just downloaded version 2.4.9 and it finally started working. Although I needed to re-register my account, as apparently the connected drive account no longer "counts" and you need to make a new one just for this app. Anyway, once you get it started, it works just fine and it's a nice digital drivers manual.

It was perfect until the last update. App is now completely unusable as it doesn't seem to accept the correct ConnectedDrive login credentials. The server does not even seem connected to anything. Very frustrating and amateur for BMW. The problem has been pointed out by everyone in the recent reviews but there is no resolution or even an announcement/acknowledgement. Please fix this as soon as possible A loving customer Edit: 4-5 useless updates later and it STILL doesn't work!
