Best of the best! SCR5W the flash lovers!!! Been using this the last few months now and liking it more every day. Never been able to get flash to work but that is not why I love this. Adobe is to blame either way or more so all the defunct developers out there not willing to upgrade their services to HTML 5. Yeah, yeah I understand the arguments go both ways. Boat's interface is so very intuitive and fluid, I can't imagine having to go without it. No it's not perfect and neither are any other alternatives.
I used to love this browser: very configurable, search engine, doesn't track like google and Amazon, speed (doesn't hang like chrome), bookmark management, compatible, works well...I liked it so much that I purchased it. However... Things I hate: stupid features supported that you wont use (floating window, browser's configurability over the top...) Missing features you need: form fill barely works, synching/import/export has a 50% probabilty of actually working, synched info NOT encrypted (I defy you to find info reguarding browser security) android printing not supported, silly plug-ins for critical functions (some add-ons don't work). THIS BROWSER KEEPS FALLING BEHIND on features that matter however developers implement the silly useless over the must have and actually needed. Uninstall - go back to chrome.
The smoothest and most full-featured browser out there This is really worth paying for. It has smooth page scrolling, supports Flash, loads quickly, offers lots of customisation options and it just works better than most browsers I've tried so far. There are some issues with warping text at the default zoom setting, but other than that this is pretty much perfect.
Auto-rotate? Up untill yesterday I was using an older version wich fullfillled all my needs. With some hesitation I updated (and bought!) the browser yesterday. The latest version is even better then the older ones, except for one very important thing: auto-rotate stopped working after configuring the latest version! This is not what I paid for, a disappointing 3 stars for now. Will come back to rate it 5 stars when issue is fixed. Update: settings reset to default and reconfigured; auto-rotation is working again!
Lost all major features after latest update for Android 4.4 I used to love Boat Browser. Not sure if it was the Kit Kat upgrade or latest update for Boat, but I lost the auto hide tab and url bar with scroll. Also lost the "quick scroll to top or bottom" button that appeared while scrolling. Labs features don't stay enabled either. Lastly, text wrapping no longer works. Am I missing something?? Please add these features back in! They are the only reasons I paid for a pro licence.
Features lost with update to latest Android version After upgrade to Android 4.4, the tab and location bars don't auto-hide as you scroll down and results in lot of wasted vertical screen space. This is a no go for me. I bought the Pro key before this upgrade and Boat Browser had the best set of features among all other browsers. Really like Firefox sync integration.
