Ratings and reviews

Thankfully I've never had to use the service. But the app itself sucks. I set the tide stations I want. When I come back to the app again the tide stations I set are gone. I have to login, select them again. Wash rinse repeat. Also many times the marine forecast isn't available. I have sent emails to no avail. I use another app for tides and marine forecasts.

Update (10 days later): Now the app crashes the minute it is opened. Uninstalling now since what limited value it had before, is now gone. Original review: Marine weather unavailable at this time. This app adds no value other than regurgitating free information in a convenient format. However, it doesn't work and requires a cumbersome login each time, before not working. So pretty much useless. Do yourself a favor and find some reliable sources of information instead.

Accuracy is superb! I have never needed to call Boat US in an emergency, but I use the app for tide charts. Where I'm located there are several buoys to choose from; they always show the water and air temp. as well as humidity. I have AT&T, and do not experience the negative things other reviewers have mentioned. Granted, I am relying on the app. for tide and temp. only. I live close enough to the Atlantic that I can see the wind conditions. I have recommended this app. to other boaters.
