TRIBUTE TO BOB, MAY HIS NAME LIVE FOREVER I have watched this wonderful and entertaining man for approximately 30 yrs on CREATE tv. I have never seen another show like this one anywhere! The most caring, kind, and talented person imaginable! His painting show has inspired me to try his techniques and hopefully I can do at least 10% as well as he did ,! LOL! I DO have high hopes but we shall see. When I found out that he had passed away ,I was absolutely crushed but was thrilled to find out that his shows live on ! May his shows continue FOREVER and inspire us all ! As Bob always said", God bless my friends" !
It's OK I love the idea, but I would've seen mor of his videos not just a few. Was a little disappointed but over all the idea is good. I hope some day the app will updated and will have all of his painting videos. Until than the YouTube will do. :)
Disappointed Thought this would provide instruction videos on painting various elements, so I did not have to struggle through the mess on YouTube. Mostly it is a 308 MB advertisement for supplies. Hope they will consider doing segments on clouds, different trees, mountains, water , lakes, ponds, rivers, oceans, etc.
This is the greatest app ever Thank you so much for making this, I can look up the proper techniques with how to detail my trees and clouds and get voiced quotes by the man himself for encouragement. 5 stars obviously, would definitely pay money for this
Bob Ross My grandma and I used to watch Bob Ross on PBS all the time. I was young very young. Watching Mr. Ross's videos brings back so many memories of grandma. I love, LOVE his voice, I used to close my eyes and just listen to the sound of his voice as he painted his "Happy clouds". My grandma was really a wonderful artist. She taught me how to paint. My very first painting was done on canvas that was used for practice, and she just wanted me to just practice different brush techniques. However, before we both knew it, right before our eyes, that practice turned into a very pretty painting. She was VERY shocked at how VERY well I did. That was my first time that I ever held an oil brush in my hands and painting oil wet on wet on canvas. Very sad, I have no clue what happened to that painting. I painted cabin with picket fence in the foreground with some shrubs and other greenery, mid ground I painted some White Birch. Background were snowcapped mountains. Starting at the foreground was a dirt trial leading up and past the cabin and it curled to the right, to the left and slightly back to the right again going off into the horizon. Had some big puffy "Happy clouds" cumulus.
I like Bob Ross He speaks from his Heart and Soul. A Good Man. A Wise Man. I dig his style. He entices me to long for the brush. Thank-you Bob Ross.
