Free Play Mode is the perfect way to get the hang of the game and to see how using the blackjack basic strategy affects the outcomes. You start with 5000 chips of play money, but you can reset your balance by reloading the game.

BASIC STRATEGY DRILL
By properly learning the blackjack basic strategy, you avoid rookie mistakes and make better decisions at the real blackjack table. This will also affect the house edge.

Our Basic Strategy Drill helps you learn the basic strategy by giving you feedback on every move you make. Before you begin, select how many hands to play (25, 50 or 75).

If you make a mistake, our blackjack trainer app will instantly point out the correct move. Afterwards, you’ll also see areas of improvement.

CARD COUNTING DRILL
By learning card counting, you can approximate which cards remain in the deck and adjust your bets accordingly.

Our Card Counting Drill is an easy way to learn the Hi-Lo count. Before you start, select how many decks you want played and how often the game will ask for the count.

In the actual card counting trainer, the system automatically plays blackjack according to the basic strategy. You can concentrate on counting the cards. The game will ask you the count between hands, and the final count after all decks have been played.

BLACKJACK RULES
We’ll teach you the basic rules of blackjack with examples and images. You’ll see the payouts, explanations of available moves and special situations – all in an easy-to-understand format.

BLACKJACK BASIC STRATEGY CHART
The basic strategy chart is your “cheat sheet” for playing perfect blackjack. You’ll see the optimal way to play each hard hand, soft hand and pair dealt.

FAQ

How old do I need to be to play blackjack?

Blackjack is a gambling game and therefore aimed at adult audience. You need to be of legal gambling age in your home country to play.

Can I play with real money?

Not here. This blackjack trainer helps you hone your skills and is for entertainment and educational purposes only. No real money play available.

Can I play multiple hands at the same time?

No. This blackjack trainer is a single-hand version. The only scenario where you play multiple hands is after a split.

What is blackjack basic strategy?

The basic strategy is the optimal way to play blackjack. It’s based on the mathematical probabilities of different scenarios.

By playing according to the basic strategy, you choose the statistically best option every time. Although using the basic strategy doesn’t completely eliminate the house edge, it will considerably reduce it.

What is card counting?

Card counting is a way to keep track of the cards already played. This helps you determine which cards remain in the deck and how these affect your chances of winning.

When there are a lot of 10s and Aces left in play, you’re more likely to get a blackjack. In addition, the dealer is more likely to bust.

Our Card Counting Drill uses a Hi-Lo count. You assign a numeric value of +1, 0 or -1 to every card played and keep a running count. When the count is positive, there are more high cards left in the deck and your chances of winning improve.

Which rule variation does the game use?
Our blackjack trainer game uses these rules:

- 8 decks
- Blackjack pays 3:2
- Dealer stands on all 17s
- Double down on any initial hand
- One split per hand, no re-splits
- Split Aces only get 1 card
- You can double down after split
- No surrender

These rules result in a 0.49% house edge or a 99.51% return to player, when using the basic strategy.

Like the app a lot. Good learning tool. A couple suggestions. 1) A quick button for the BS chart in the trainer and free play so you dont have to go through the menu each time. 2) Be able to choose "Deal All", "Soft", or "Pairs". This is because the "Hard" chart is most common so you learn it quickly. Learning the other 2 is a little more difficult for memory because they come up less.

This is really a decent training platform for basic blackjack strategy. There is, however, one very distinct problem... Basic bj strategy fundamentals demand that pairs of aces and pairs of 8s are ALWAYS split. However, while your basic strategy chart indicates that pairs of aces and pairs of 8s should always be split, I'm often presented with an error message or the word "incorrect" when I split aces or 8s. You guys need to fix this. Otherwise, you're training people improperly. Fix it!

Your card counting exercise is severely broken...very inaccurate. Also the game seems imbalanced. It would be nice to see a cumulative total of wins vs losses in the basic strategy exercise. It seems pretty disheartening when someone iis playing perfect games and still lose 70 to 80 % of the time.
