Ratings and reviews

I love this book subscription box and the app is easy to use if you are selecting a physical book to be shipped, plus, skipping a month is easy. However, if audiobooks are your thing the ap and player are awful. Books do not keep your place if you close the ap down, but if you leave it open and pause the book it constantly starts up on its own. I knocked my review down to two stars because it's been well over a year and it hasn't gotten better. BOTM needs to fix this!

While it's never been the best app, I feel like recently it's become almost unusable. Any time I try to navigate to a new section it takes forever to load, freezes when you try to return to the home screen, and pulling up any book details locks it to the screen and you cannot drag the window back down to return to searching. I spend so much time closing and reopening the app, it's incredibly frustrating.

The app lags SO much. Everytime I click on something it freezes, & I either have to exit out or wait several minutes for it to work again. It's been this way for a VERY long time now & it hasn't been fixed. It's really only good for picking from the monthly drops; everything else I have to go to their website for. Also, the quality of the picks has gone down in the past year. I skip now more than ever. Fantasy picks are almost always smut, & the rest is the most boring fiction they could find.
