Sure would be nice to have a windows app. I did try the android app on my LG4 , however, the small screen wasn't favourable. Drawing a square plan was easy, was not able to insert an angled wall. Maybe one could with a mouse, but not able to with finger on the LG4.
Incredibly unintuitive app. Frustratingly limited options to achieve desired results. I could've drawn the whole floorplan oldschool with graph paper, scale, and a mechanical pencil in the time I wasted trying to get one room done with the app.
This app is quite comprehensive. I had trouble to start but watched the many tutorials online and found it to work awesome once I figured it out. Only thing missing is dxf/DWG output. Still deserves 5 stars tho.
I used this app on my Note 4 and it was very poor, so I bought a Tablet thinking it would get better. Nope. It's terrible. The glm50c is dream and interfaces so good, and I hoped to be able to draw the sketch and drop in the measurement - nope. 1st both modes of drawing the plan are impossible. Any corrections after you have started just makes worse. Stick with paper and the laser measure.
So disappointed. As a Bosch fan boy I really wanted to like this app. FAQ is from a previous version in which features no longer exist. No in depth instructions on how to use all features. Wall segments do not scale to new measurements. Can only adjust ceiling height on ONE side of a wall so if you have a rake wall, too bad. With out the above this app becomes semi useless.
App does not scale to size if you draw a smaller wall but give it a larger measurement it wont adjust it, common sense would be once you input the actual measurement it shoild scale bigger than another smaller wall but it doesnt
