Dated and limited app. With so much other technology available in this car it is sad that I can not listen to emails or texts or speech-to-text whilst driving. I share the frustration of the over 100 unhappy customers and hope JLR do something about this very soon to keep up with the competition. Even low end vehicles these days offer such commodities. No one writing reviews seems to be asking for anything unreasonable.
Just add Android Auto already. Most of these apps are paid, most of the others are useless. Android Auto is the gold standard, just incorporate it and be done, with happy customers. I had Android Auto in an aftermarket head unit in my previous vehicle, and it is unbeatable by any automaker-branded solution.
Horse Poo... Hard to understand, how a company which builds £100K+ cars cannot find resources to make an app that works. Limited functionality, bugged, slow. Android version only supported on devices released before Normans. Totally disappointed. JLR, wake up! If so impotent, at least ask your owners, they will put something decent together in a matter of hours
I wish this supported more apps or that Land Rover would just allow Android Auto and Car Play. I these apps are useless vs Android auto on my vw.
Reading the negative reviews going back to 2015 this strikes me as total arrogance by JLR. You better hope your badge stays desirable. Can any of us who're in business imagine leaving customers unhappy this long. BTW my local LR service centre can't figure out how to even get the apps onto my DS's screen, neither can I.
Was useless then they added Spotify. Love it.
