This app is so painful to use. I have two bose portable smart speakers and I basically have to reset them any time I want to change any configuration. They are supposed to support multiple wifi networks but don't. There is no way to setup a new network using the method they show in the manual so you have to remove the devices from the app and start over. They just fail to connect several times after that. You need to connect over wifi to set up bluetooth sync as well. How does that make sense?

You cannot shuffle/random a playlist with an Amazon music account in the Bose software. From what I'm reading, this used to be a feature, but they removed it within the past couple of years. So imagine trying to do a workout, and every song from every artist is in order. I made my playlists by going to my favorite artists/albums and uploading multiple songs from the artist/album. So now all workouts are in music blocks by artist... Lame!

It is surprising that Bose a major audio company would allow such a poor app. First problem is getting it to set up which usually you can but it takes a lot of frustration. But what's even worse is after you've set it up you go back to the app and now it's telling you you need to finish setting up again. Even though earbuds are paired and working, but can't change settings. Process repeats itself over and over. If this doesn't get resolved, this is my last Bose.
