- Continued use of GPS running in the background may significantly decrease battery life. We have taken steps to minimise this whenever possible.

Used to be a great app. Started using the when it was brought to my attention by the Martin Lewis email. Then bounts stopped the rewards which were worth buying with the points, I carried on using it to donate points to Cancer Research, but now there is nothing at all in the shop and hasn't been for weeks. Now a totally pointless app!!

It was amazing to be able to get points towards vouchers such a great idea. Once it changed I only kept it incase they changed it back but sadly not. In the meantime I've got over 1,000 so entered a few competitions but there aren't many for fitbit which is dissapointing and the prizes are a bit naff. Such a waste of a great idea
Lost incentive I started this when recommended by Martin Lewis. It was great, and I encouraged my much fitter friends to join. I only had the free version and was new to running, it really gave me the incentive to get out there. My points grew, but when I had enough for a voucher they were always out of stock. Now it's completely changed, I don't want to enter into a draw where I probably won't get anything. I used to walk round the block or run up and downstairs if I was short of a few steps, now I don't bother. Shame!

Bounts disappointing news! Did give u 5 stars but I now feel cheated out of my membership by you changing the goal posts. Your premium membership was to accelerate my points to get rewarded. Using my points as a fee to be put into a prize draw I did not sign up for. Worthless points accumulating with as much chance of winning a challenge as it is winning the lottery!!! Don't waste your time with this app!!!

I joined in about April. I paid £15 for premium membership. Sadly I didn't earn points quick enough to get a voucher before the shop ran dry. I now have over 12k points for nothing! I try to use the check ins when I go to the gym but most of the time it doesn't work. I was actually on the cross trainer and the app thought I was 53m from the building! It doesn't recognise when I leave the building, so often doesn't give me points as it thinks I've been there too long! Very disappointed 😞

Points mean nothing. Originally this was an added incentive to build points and cash them in as you please with loads of choice. Many have mentioned giving points to charity, can't find out how or whether the charity will benefit in reality. I never paid and never will but sadly this has become pointless points.

Thanks for the review. Great to hear! I joined in about April. I paid £15 for premium membership. Sadly I didn't earn points quick enough to get a voucher before the shop ran dry. Reward wheel disappeared and no rewards in the shop Thought this was a great idea initially, signed up for the premium service and got a couple of Debenhams vouchers. Lost all my reward wheel credits after it was removed, venue check in now time consuming and unreliable, no rewards in shop. Very disappointing.
Pointless app now! Very little or no incentives left to make you go that bit further. The whole idea was to inspire and motivate people to be more active and it achieved this by rewarding those that accumulated points. There are no rewards left so the app is pointless as there is no incentive!
This Used To Be A Good App When the app first started it was a great idea, encouraged people to exercise more & get decent rewards for it. Unfortunately everything that used to be good has now been ruined by the recent changes. Sorry but I'm uninstalling as it's no use to me as it now is.
Rip off Joined as premium member. No way to convert points into worthwhile rewards. No refund offered. Supposed to be given special challenges as premium member since the change but nothing offered. Any big company thinking of associating themselves with this app don't bother!
Still getting it wrong App has taken a huge step backwards. Got 5000 points and lost £10 that can't now be used. The new update needs a lot of work. So disappointing as loved the original when vouchers were available. Chances of winning anything look very slim and new version seems a flop. Update: where r all the challenges and promised personal challenges for premium members? Keep gathering points but nothing to enter with a fitbit. Gave it a chance but it seems to be a useless app now. Promises again not materialising,.

Hi Sally, we restock the shop regularly throughout the day to give members a fair chance of redeeming points. We are currently experiencing a high number of redemptions causing stock to come in & out quickly. Rest assured they always come back again
Please check our FAQs that explain why or contact support@bounts.it if you require further info Challenges don't give you progress. So you don't k ow if it is working. No separation between challenges joined and not. You have to click into each one to find out. Barely any overview on the challenges. Poorly designed app. Running hero's is better designed.
Most challenges and rewards seem UK based. Worthless for non-uk residents. No real encouragement, just lots of worthless points. With this kind of improvement to your app, the next update can't possibly be worse.
No refund no accuracy no point 10K points impossible to spend before the changes and now no personal challenges as promised. App has become unstable refusing to sync and underreading my steps by several thousand. You took my money and provide inaccuracy in return for a few feeble raffles for challenges a disabled person like me could never do, as you well know. PLEASE GIVE ME BACK MY MONEY ... I AM NOT MOTIVATED BY THIS ANY MORE
Pointless (literally) I joined before the changes and found it motivated me to do more steps etc. Now you can't even use all your points, sometimes your not even eligible to join the challenges. I think everyone has lost their trust in Bounts and don't see how they can come back from this unfortunately. This was a bad decision made with no view of the future consequences. I'll be uninstalling now I think. It's a waste of memory on my phone.
At first it was a great app... but good things come to an end.. turns out my money to upgrade my account was money not worth spent. They changed the business model without informing their paying customers and then offered refunds to anyone outside of the UK. No points claimed for.. no refund given.. this company have taken £14.99 of my money and refuse to refund and ignore my complaints. They have hidden away for any type of communication by either ignoring or deleting. There are better apps out there to motivate.. please try these first before even thinking about this company. Points given to charity.. app deleted!
Worthless really. Venue check in curiously always shows my "approximate location" just outside the venue zone, even when Google Maps has my location within 10m. The only reason I haven't uninstalled the app is that I've accrued many thousands of points I'm hoping to spend on entries for some amazing prize draw someday. Otherwise I used to use this app daily back when it had actual use, now I rarely open it in a fortnight.
I don't normally write reviews however I feel that people should be aware to avoid this app. Many issues main one is v. Bad/no customer service... they don't care about you :( . I also feel that there are other apps out there that give you better motivation to keep active. Its a pity since if there was better management and communication this could be a great app.
Feel cheated This app was originally to allow you to earn rewards for doing fitness albeit small point build ups that could be exchanged eventually for high street vouchers. Then (just as I reached enough points to cash in) they changed the premise of the app and now rewards are challenge based only with a single reward prize draw for all those that completed the challenge. This therefore removes any incentive to use the app as now I cannot spend my hard earned points. This app summed up in one word is pointless!
Got this app as recommended by a friend. The wheel has disappeared and j had about 400 odd spins left. No valuable rewards on offer apart from donating points to charities. DO NOT get this app. Worst £15 I've spent....
No use since it changed. Used to be good but now the rules have changed. You get awarded points for activity, you use those points to buy entry to challenges where you do more activities to earn entry into a raffle to possibly win/get money off some expensive fitness tech you probably didn't want anyway. Seems kind of convoluted and pointless. I don't find it motivates me so will be uninstalling.
I joined over 3 years ago for free first then paid full membership. Before I had a chance to use the points you change it and now all I have is charity in the shop. I have emailed you and you never replied. Not happy at all with it now.
Joke of an app 10k points and no way to spend them. Waste of time and money. Don't even care about my lost money. Keep the money you clearly need it more 😂
Was great to start with. But then couldn't actually get any rewards. Now the points from premium membership are only worth competition entries so virtually worthless. Feeling ripped off. Bounts don't respond to emails either. I asked for my membership fee back as they promised but never saw it. Took our money on promise of vouchers and then changed the rules so the vouchers no longer exists.
October 16.I did write a good review a few months back but have decided to change it, as the terms have changed I find it pointless this app has gone rubbish and not guaranteed to get any kind of voucher where as before earning the points for vouchers pushed me to work harder. I have over 6000 points and can't do anything with them!!!! 👎👎👎. 01/12/16 This app is getting worse I'm afraid I'm going to have to uninstall if it dosn't change its pointless!!!!
What a let down. I used to love the app. I even paid for premium but the app has recently disappointed me greatly by removing a lot of the good rewards. My extra points I could have gains with the reward wheel were just removed rather than converting. There is now nothing in the reward store I would with to use as most things you need to add money to. What happened to the sports direct and Argos vouchers. What a waste of my time effort and money
20/02/16 Downloaded and was good, logged all activities, steps and Facebook participation. But after a few days it didn't log a day (for no reason) then a few missing Facebook points and activities missing. So I'm not very impressed with the workings of the app. Will change accordingly if they fix the app and reimburse me. 01/03/16 still waiting for someone to contact me regards the problems, so customer support is appealing also!!23/03/16 still no one has contacted me! April 2017 pointless, been conned out of money :-(
Waste of money Made changes supposedly to be more motivating and complete opposite. OK now you don't have to pay to get the same points but the challenges are not good enough and the chance of getting an award poor
Complete waste of time I spent months motivating myself to get out and do more steps encouraged by the idea of getting small rewards in return. I even used it throughout my pregnancy, only now to find my points are worthless so I more or less wasted my time on this app when I could have used a more reliable service.
Forget it No auto check in - there goes my fast check in when um just running in for an hour. ... no reward wheel ... There goes all rewards for logging in... can't get the rewards you want off the shop ... where is the - 5 star rating when you need it
Utterly useless as of October. Nothing to spend your points on except a couple of challenges here and there where you could (but no doubt won't) win something rubbish. And hardly any challenges suitable for me anyway. Not at all what I signed up for. I don't bother with this app anymore. I can't imagine why anyone would.
Waste of time Joined as a premium member earlier in the year, they ignored requests for a refund and no sign of any targeted challenges that we were promised. Looks like this was just a giant pyramid scheme and they finally ran out of money.
Signed up and paid for premium membership where they said usters could earn up to £200 pa for exercise. They've since chainged both their T&Cs and their business model (which they are entitled to do) and left paying customers in the lurch. I earned points under the old scheme and just want them redeeming under the old scheme. Very poor customer service too.
After discovering all the points i've gathered from walking cannot be redeemed for anything, i'm quite disappointed. The app is slow, no more option to subscribe for removal of ads, what happened?
Don't bother You earn points in this app by walking and doing activities, and have essentially nothing in the shop they can be spent on. In short, a great idea terribly executed.
It is not adding the points from Google Fit. Help. Also, most of the good vouchers are out of stock. What is the point of that ???? I have had this app for a long time now and built up a substantial amount of points to be redeemed for something . However they stopped the point system .I thought i would give my points to charity and did a few times. Now i am unable to do even that . Thinking of uninstalling the app. What a waste.

Please check our FAQs that explain why or contact support@bounts.it if you require further info Very disappointed. Rewards used to be quite good, since the change are now quite rubbish in comparison. When I emailed them about it all I got was did I want to delete my account! COME ON SORT IT OUT GUYS!
Bounts scam I first got the free app after getting a fitbit for xmas 2015. I am very active and after 6 months had earned a £5 voucher. All I had to do was be active and sign into the website/app to sync with my fitbit once every couple of days. Great. So I then signed up for the premium version of this app for £15 under the promise that I could earn loads more cash. As soon as i bought it they changed the rules and you can't earn voucher rewards anymore. Very disappointing as seemed promising. WASTE OF TIME 😢😠
Was a very happy long-term member before Martin Lewis recommended it. Then they changed the way the system worked & totally ruined it. It's a shame really, as the chance of achievable rewards did push me to go the extra mile (or steps). Will be deleting the app & servering all ties with them.
What's the point.... For a while it was really good, but since it's all changed they have nothing in the store that you can spend your points on. I don't really understand why we even collect the points anymore.
