The automatic push option for Exchange server is extremely unreliable.. I can never be sure that I haven't received any mail, if app is showing such. As a result, I have to refresh inbox every now and then.
Before the last update it stopped working and wouldn't even open after about 5 days unless I deleted and reinstalled, but now it seems to be working fine and still works weeks later. You're getting there. Whoops, now you've gone and broken it again so it stops receiving mail after a few days.
As an Enhanced Email user and a Boxer beta tester, I am disappointed to see the lack of enterprise support after the acquisition by VMWare. I continue to use Boxer for my pop and imap accounts, but I have moved to a different app that offers more robust support for enterprise class email. I will edit my review if the enterprise issues are corrected. Edit: I have tried Boxer again, after Touchdown lost support and development and was disappointed that it was a battery. , hit
Looks nice. Shortly after using - a few days - gets in a state where it refuses to send mail, at least with GMail. Lots of bug reports over the past 2 years. No fixes. So skip this as useless.
Seem to be throwing the odd hissy fit and then stops working since the last update. This happens once or twice a month for no apparent reason even when on a super fast connection. Otherwise in general the app seems to do a good job, certainly compared to many others that I've tried.
The app is one of the better email apps format wise, it allowed the folder design similar to Outlook and some nice customization. The biggest pain and killer is how often the app crashes. Open an email with a large attachment? Crash. Open a calendar invite and accept the event? Crash. If it wasn't so buggy it would be an amazing application. But as it stands, I'm looking for an alternative.
