About this app

MusiShuZ is a one of a kind virtual musical instrument app. A pair of Bluetooth mice are attached to the bottom of a pair of shoes and connected to the user's Android smart phone. The app functions as a MIDI controller driven by the player's shoes. A specially designed mapping of the position of the screen pointer to musical notes in an octave allows the musician to play any key on a virtual 7 octave (88 keys) instrument. A variety of virtual musical instruments (SoundFonts) are included in the app including piano, violin, trumpet, cello, piccolo, organ, drums, solfeggio and many more. The player can select any of these instruments and has full control over the duration and the volume (sound velocity) of the played musical notes. To use the app one needs to acquire a pair of actual MusiShuZ in the user's foot size. They can be purchased at the developer's website at https://www.MusiShuZ.com. The MusiShuZ app and shoes allow the musician to play sheet music and to save the performances as MIDI files. A detailed instructional manual and a demonstration video are included in the app. They contain information on how to setup and play the MusiShuZ. The app is localized in 15 commonly used languages.

What's new

First public release of the MusiShuZ app (v. 1.0). To use the app as intended, you also need to purchase a pair of actual Musical Shoes (a.k.a. musies) online at https://www.MusiShuZ.com

Put the musies on, launch the app, pair the Bluetooth mice attached to the shoe soles and let your feet play any of the built-in virtual instruments. If this is your first MusiShuZ encounter, take a look at the in-app instructions and video. It will take some time to master it. Be patient, practice and Enjoy!
