About this app

Use words to their fullest potential: Embiggen them!

At a bar, at the library, in class, even in the comfort of your own home. Just type in a word or phrase and watch as small words become big words on your phone's screen. No word is too small to embiggen!

101 ways to use Embiggen:
- Tell that girl across the room she's cute, or ask the guy at the library for his phone number!
- Pick a fight with someone on the bus without saying a word!
- Command your literate dog to fetch your slippers!
- and 98 others!!!

I love this app! Use it constantly when talking is not convenient. Only two reasons it's not 5-star: (1) the keyboard input screen and settings screen are white which is jarring when text are embiggened because the user is constantly switching from typing on a white background to reading on black background. Consistent (preferably black) backgrounds would be better. (2) It would be nice if the text was embiggened simultaneously as the user is typing. Similar to the "Big" app on iOS.

You don't know how handy this is until you use it. Laryngitis, getting served three deep at the bar, clandestine conversation, communicating in loud environments, or with the hard of hearing, quick note taking, and getting served at the bar...again. Sometimes the simplest apps, well executed, deserve the highest praise.

Crashes on large strings, you might want to consider running the logic code on a background thread so it doesn't freeze the main (UI) thread and showing a progress bar meanwhile, but that's a minor issue, as you'll be using this for smaller string for the most part.
