Just the app I was looking for! I didn't want to have to turn on my phone screen to turn on the flashlight and this works great! For a dollar I bought the full version so I can customize how I like to use the buttons. I can click my volume up button two times, my flashlight comes on, click it two times and it's off! I love things when they're simple and they work! It has a shaking feature to turn on also but I found I had to shake it too hard to get it to work all the time.

1. it wants permission to read text messages if volume up for power on is used 2. dont pay the .99 for full version. when using other power button launch apps like double tap camera, the app for flashlight is useless. free version lets you launch the flashlight but not close it. like most apps, its geared to suck you i to the purchase and still do nothing but rob your information, while not even performing well while its doing it. galaxy s9, experienced enough to build my own PC. Run far away

Hello Mr Hart, it seems like you are too much into conspiracy theories. We do require permission to read hardware buttons, but that is only if you want to use volume buttons - it says keyboard but that is hardware keyboard (very few devices has this), not software so we cannot read your text messages - there is a different permission for that.

I bought full version to use all features and the 1st feature I used generated this message: "Something went wrong with Power Button Flashlight Power Button Flashlight closed because this app has a bug Try updating this app after its developer provides a fix for this error."
