I'm addicted. Almost therapeutic. My one wish is for when the game ends, there to be an option to hide the menu so you can take a screenshot of your little town. Or if there was a gallery feature that would save your top 5 or 10 highest scores and your finished board app you can look at it. Otherwise it's a great puzzle game!
I liked the game because it was peaceful and pretty. The thing is, once you got to level 11, you win and that's it. You have to restart and not continue where you left off creating bigger and cooler buildings. If I could continue, even after I won. I'm not giving it the highest rating because I want to play more, not because I don't like the game.
Crisp, clear graphics on a blocky Japanese theme. Well enough constructed & fairly relaxing. Nice & free with minimal ad intrusion in this 2048 variant. Criticisms? One theme limits replay value. An undo feature would be useful. Not much to aim for beyond the obvious. (How about other areas, not just Japanese?). Otherwise good.
I was loving it up until the point I realized it ends when you reach 2048. Most 2048 games let you keep going after you reach that level so you can have more personal bests. Not gonna 5-star it only because of that.
I never thought a 2048 game, one of my favorite genres of mobile gaming, would make me say things like "charming" or utter phrases like "Oh, good! That neighborhood needed more housing!" In response to the careless mistakes that are easy to make when one is so enamored of the subtle sweetness of something like this.
Pretty great. It'd be nice to have some more nuanced options, like the ability to have just the ambient background sounds without the sound effects. I like the soothing atmospheric noises, but I can't have them without the loud POP of every combination. Anyway, gg. Pretty, simple, elegant. Keep it up~
