Brand new Broil King Pellet 400 and the app won't connect to Wifi or let me skip that option. Contacted support and was told to try an iPhone. Was also given an excuse that "some phones and tablets are not good at transferring large data packages. We’ve noticed issues with almost all companies other than iPhones." If you aren't going to support the app, why have one at all?

will connect for literally 3 seconds on start up and drop. can't monitor anything. piss poor tech support too. Edit: so I tried connecting to the grill with an apple product. huh, apple compatible. so I was able to upload the new firmware after 24 hours. looks like it will now work with Android phones. It shouldn't be this hard. Maybe I'll bump it up to 4 stars if everything works like it should my next grill session... we'll see.

Could be so much better. First, you have to keep opening the app to check temperatures. Make it so it will run in the background and notify you at certain stages. Second, when you open the app you need to click on the device and it has to load the temperatures. It should just display when opened since it shows null temps anyway. Third, the app will not stay open if you leave it for more than 30 seconds. There's more, but the creators should pay me for this free advice I'm giving them.
