Brand new Broil King Pellet 400 and the app won't connect to Wifi or let me skip that option. Contacted support and was told to try an iPhone. Was also given an excuse that "some phones and tablets are not good at transferring large data packages. We’ve noticed issues with almost all companies other than iPhones." If you aren't going to support the app, why have one at all?

App is garbage. Does not show cooking temp history. Half of the links in the menus cause the app to crash or just redirects you to the connected grill. The menu under the light-bulb doesn't allow you to click on anything. Shows 6 sub-menus and 4 of them are called "TextView TextView". At least I can see the grill temp, just wonder how accurate it is.

App was updated to "all new" version in Feb 2025. No information about what was updated though. I don't see any difference. Hopefully it works better than before! Not changing my rating until I see improvements. Edit: still garbage.
