Very good Very accurate and visually motivating companion to the convict conditioning book, good solid program, took me only a few minutes to learn. You can even schedule exercises for different days, so able to create custom workouts. At the moment i schedule pressups and pullups twice a week together and between i have squats. Although you cant add exercises to the planner, you *can* edit the csv file that the log exports as (i add deadlifts for example), it just wont show up in the app itself. 5 stars well earned.
Works with the book It's a pretty good app, but it's not much as a standalone resource -- it's a tool in support of the book. As a companion to help with following the book, it's very well done. My only criticism is that I don't always keep the book in front of my so I don't necessarily remember how to perform each variation just from the name. A couple of pictures demonstrating each movement would be a welcome edition. There's still no substitute for the book to really understand the program. I just think the easier it is to use the app, the more you make it so I don't have to run back to the book, the better.
Good Would be great if a description or picture/vieeo of the exercise accompanied the names for better reference. Also, during some exercises you can't really see the number of reps, so it would be great to have a count out loud say every 5th rep...
Amazing, incredible! This approach is a bloody lifesaver! Makes it amazingly easy to manage my workout, especially through the beautiful, simple and incredibly well thought out UI. A must have for anyone at any stage in their Convict Conditioning!
No flexibility This is an ok app for recording our convict conditioning training. Would highly recommend if it didn't lock you into a set number of sets. Please update to allow more sets. Add this and it'll be a five star app. CC2 app would be great too.
Rep counter issue with Nexus 4 On my Nexus 4 the rep counter increments after half a rep (one 2-1 count.) Could use more info like the You Are Your Own Gym app and to include the Trifecta from CC2 but more detail might require a license.
