Bromcom's MyChildAtSchool Parent App is designed to increase the parental engagement between Parents and Schools by sharing key information about their children's day to day school information.

The app is ok, but confusing for homework. One needs to be able to sort homework into priority order and be able to log when it has been completed and moved to a 'done' section. There is a way to change homework to 'Complete', but this only works if the homework is attached and sent in electronically- which our school doesn't opt for. We are constantly faced with a bright yellow 'Not Completed' sign, which is unnecessary, frustrating and demoralising!

Having gotten used to this app in recent years, I can actually see its usefulness. My only issue is that sometimes you just can't login, it suddenly doesn't do the usual PIN method of logging in, switches to email and password, and despite entering the exact correct email and password that you've used the whole time to access the app, it randomly just won't work. Bit frustrating. Or if you can get it, you can't access info, it just sort of freezes. It feels pretty unattended by the developers.

This is my first time having to write an app review, and unfortunately, it's not a positive one. The app consistently closes whenever I try to select meals for my children. This makes the ordering process incredibly difficult and time-consuming. Furthermore, the app doesn't allow adding multiple items to the basket for a single checkout. I'm forced to checkout each item individually, which is not practical at all, especially when ordering for my current two children and soon-to-be three.
