Nothing works! I can't print anything.... that is if I can even get the printer to turn on. it turns on when it wants to, not when i want it to. when it finally does turn on I can't print a document because it says this app has a big and to update it. THERE ARE NO UPDATES AVAILABLE!!! HORRIBLE PRINTERS, HORRIBLE APP, EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS PRINTER AND APP IS HORRIBLE! You'd think you'd get a better product and service based on how expensive the printer is.

I dread the days, and they seem to happen randomly, when my brother connection via app to phone starts popping errors. I cannot believe in the days of jumping in the car, and everything connects in seconds, plays tunes, accepts texts and can flip through options of the infotainment center. All in seconds. Brother Printers paired with their apps are as archaic and slow and painful to use. Its gotten to the point where Im ready to move on from this brand that refuses to do any upgrades. Awful.

The app works great; you can print and scan using your mobile device, which is useful and is actually speedy. HOWEVER, scan settings apparently differ from the app and the Brother windows program. Yes, I read this can happen so for instance on windows, you can choose to scan with error diffusion and scanned pages come out clear. BUT, when you scan with the app, there is no error diffusion option so scanned pages come out with dark spots throughout the page and the letters are blurry. Again, why even have a scanned feature if it's not going to work properly?
