This is by far one of the best games I have ever played on android! There's not very many games that give you the satisfaction of playing a console quality game on android. This is an exception. Feels so much like a game you would play on any other console and not just a quick game thrown together to grab your money from you. Wish there was more games like this on android. So glad there's no pay to win or ad based system in this game. Defiantly worth the money. This is a company worth supporting :) gameplay is amazing!

Just a ton of fun. This is a game that blends the beautiful minimalism of the old 8-bit games with the expansiveness of modern gaming. I don't expect to run out of things to do or get bored anytime soon. No way to really describe this unique game well without boring everyone to death, which is the opposite of a helpful review. You're just going to have to trust, like, everyone who's played it and just go for it!

I still get crashes related to the map with my ASUS ZenPad 3S 10 tablet. I don't loose more than a few seconds of game play using the save file to recover. Restarting is quick although I have to regenerate the map about half the time. So just -1 star 🌟 since otherwise it is fun to play and the play on multiple devices and platforms feature works.

edit: I only had 2 quests left after about 100 hours of gameplay. The game crashed and all progress lost, even though I had activated cloud sync with my Butterscotch ID. This seriously sucks! -- I am spending a huge amount of time in this game, it's immense and hugely engaging, easy to use yet not simple to play. Very fun. No ingame purchases is great. Full recommendation!

This is one of my most favorite games at the moment please do some DLC or something like that. Also can you tell me when the level maker is finished so I can test it. Edit* can you add crome cast support so you could use your phone as a controller while you play on tv. It's also the closest thing to a console port witch I would total pre-order

Awesome game! Everything about it. The controls took me a second to get used to but once I did I was deconstructing resources and dodging attacks like a champ. The simple graphics are actually relieving as it makes it easier to spot that certain resource you need to finish crafting. The crafting is very entertaining and how you "level" your character so it's quite the motivation to keep killing a certain creature. The dialogue is very amusing and drives the story very well. Combat is simple yet takes a bit to master. You'll die a lot early on but it doesn't punish you too much. Definitely worth every cent I've paid for it. I could go on and on about this game.

Hello Butterscotch Shenanigans. I am a big fan of your games and this one grabbed my heart with all the jokes, dialogue, and an open world adventure. I also heard on your dev diary one of you had cancer and that made me wonder, how could you make such a game in your condition. I am impressed with your work, but I instantly became sad once I heard one of you had cancer. But this game is fantastic and I was really impressed when I played your second game/the game I first played, Quadropus Rampage. Thank you for these amazing games.

Very good standalone game with huge maps and massive replayability with crafting, exploration and quests. The issue I have with it is the gobbildogook language used to describe the quests. Can't they just write in plain English a summary of exactly what it is that you're supposed to do to finish a quest instead of the nonsense script which can make it unfathomable.

Played this game on two seperate devices one being an Iphone and LG G Vista . only slight hiccup when warping and opening map. Its not the game definetely my phone.Iphone ran superb. One of my favorite games i play to date. Cant remember if i paidfor this app....Well worth every penny if i did :) Support the devs this game is gold. Crafting and building one sec. Fighting groups of monsters another.

I'm only four hours in (mainly exploring/getting resources.) and I can say that it's the most fun I've had on mobile in the past three years! Ton of things to do, lots of running and dodging attacks, witty banter, and just pure awesomeness.... So far $5 well spent.

This had rave reviews on multiple sites so i bought the game. I like the idea but it is very repetative. You just kill and forage while doing side quests. There is no real storyline or anything else much to do. Found myself bored of it after a couple days of playing.

By far one of the best games on the mobile platform, if not of any platform. One of the few games that you simply can't put down. Controls are perfect for mobile, yet works amazing with a controller too! Unique characters and hilarious humor-filled lines. Played a bunch of it yet still have a ways to go, so this definitely isn't a short game. Excellent job, ButterScotch Shenanigans!

This game is fun, it has good gameplay, and it has good graphics. The only thing I didn't like was when my data randomly got erased. I had so much progress on it, and it all disappeared. Anyway, that was just a personal problem, but it's a good game!

Super fun and addicting. Easy to start, the game never overwhelms you with complexity. It took me about 50 hours to complete, but I took my time and did all the sidequests and all the crafting. There is a bit of grinding, but not to the point it becomes un-fun.

So. 5 stars might seem overzealous given the thought it is just an app. But what these guys have brought to the table is above and beyond something that brings humor, excitement, and gameplay into a perfectly melded storyline. Overall a great buy.

A great game until it crashes and your save breaks. You are supposed to keep last good save that loaded. Not just slap the cloud at it. What do you think people did before the cloud? Well now you know. Anyway I was so furious that I just put it down for over a month. I just clicked it by accident though an suddenly it works. Spooky but all good now. No sprite errors.

Awesome game. It's like someone fused an RPG with Minecraft. The writing is all lighthearted and funny, but engaging enough to keep you interested. The UI and crafting/inventory system are extremely well done on a mobile platform. Brilliant game. Got it for $1.99. Easily worth the money.

I'm a bit ticked off. I bought this because I enjoy playing it on Steam & wanted to play it on the go as well. Also I am all for supporting developers who put in the work to add controller support to phone apps. Touch screen controls are awful & should only be used as a last resort or not at all. That being said, Crashlands does not work with controllers. At least not with my(very commonly used setup). I am using a dualshock 3 & sixaxis. This seems to be unplayable. I'm currently considering a refund.

This game is absolutely beautiful in every way. The amount of freedom in the game is such a refreshing change to all other game's now. It allows me to be able to not be forced into quest after quest. I can take breaks to go grind for materials and craft gear after gear until all the stats and qualities are maxed! It has beautiful graphics, smooth mechanics and controls, and there is humor along the entire way. I have high hopes in the future to see what's next. Developers, DO NOT give up on this game! This will grow huge, keep making new content, drop new gear and quests, possibly an entirely new area for us to explore! You guys crushed this game out of the park. I will be checking back frequently at your company to see and play all other game's you put out! Thank you for finally giving me a game I can spend hours and hours on. This is a game that will last me along time and never get bored.

Brilliantly fun game. Not the most original idea but very well developed! Only let down by the controls. Very poor targetting system when fighting large mobs (means you regularly target the mob and run to your death at it ) Probably not a good game for small to medium phones! Keep it to a tablet!

Great game, would be really, really nice to have a couple more quick bar buttons. I see the devs saying it would disrupt the balance on forums and reddit but seems like theirs easy ways around keeping the difficulty the same and actually letting us use more items. As it stands stuff like bombs and certain potions are not worth using due to the hassle of switching items in between fights. See lots of others wanting this change as well.

Amazing. Quality game a hidden gem in a store full of Pay to Win free to play games Funny Humor Interesting NPC's Tons weapons blocks craftables enemys and bosses but most importantly pets! Also this game supports a crossplay cloud save feature meaning you can play it on your PC,Tablet,Phone Amazing game... I dont rate games personally games in my opinion is a form of art and numbers are not enough to descibe them i prefer using words.

Game is fun but the controls are horrendous you're always getting double stomped by wombits in groups of more than 2 because you go to avoid the stomp but press on a jumping wombit instead. I'm very sad that I paid money for this. Should be other choices for controls like an arrow system or something. Otherwise the game looks like it could have the potential to be fun but the controls break it for me.

Crashlands is a fantastic game full of both mayhem and humor. If you can imagine a top down version of Terraria mixed with the animation and humor of Earth Worm Jim then you might have an idea of what to expect. The controls work great even on a phone. What are you waiting for?!?!? Go ahead and buy Crashlands already!!! Now I need to get back to it and find some more baconweed!!!!!!!!!!

Brilliant game as it is with unlimited growth potential. Story is incredibly entertaining and has some replay value (going to try to finish it on insane difficulty with 0 deaths 😝). Overall RPG mechanics are great but for future sequels (fingers crossed there will be some 😊) it would be even better if expanded further. Would like to see combat not so much dependant on dodging but instead combine the dodging mechanics with some damage that cannot be avoided (personally it would be even more fun). And of course some spaceship combat would be awesome. Even if you make the same game with just a new story I'm definetly buying for double the price. 😎 Awesome job Butterscotch Shenanigans crew, keep it up!

This is simply a great game! It fuses rpg and open world survival game mechanics and it does work well. It reminds me of don't starve which is a good thing. It has a lot of humour and the graphics look good. The best feature is that you can play using the same save on your pc and your phone.

I built my base at the spot where the labyrinth spawned. I didn't knew that might happen... maybe because I didn't read all the dialog properly. But seriously... I guess I'm done with the game. That really sucks. Why won't it give me my stuff back instead of overwriting almost every tile. Some of my item are still there but I can't access it (except for a few items I could pick up via the object-placing-menu or whatever you want to call it). Dunno what to do. I'm so disappointed.

I love the game,but there is one thing missing...MULTIPLAYER! To me the game will be a little more fun playing with other people and to make it easier to know which person is other people can change the color of the purple suit.

Why did I spend money on this loser of a game that takes forever to gain "levels" and has no map or plan on how to achieve them. Dying occurs much, much too often & then you must trek back to retrieve your stuff. Impossible to slay mobs are mixed in with easy ones even on some of the early quests. I'm willing to accept reasonable challenges but this game's challenges produce too many frustrations that soon erode the will to keep trying. One star rating with no apologies for doing so.

Love your other games, but not this one. I'm just grinding to build random items, fighting the same exact enemy over and over, and the character's dialogue is very difficult to understand.

I like the game. But it could be better. I think it needs nore of an rpg feel. Level up. Unlock more stuff via skill points. More crafting and such. If it had that it would damn near be my favorite game.
