I am playing through for the third time on a different device. The first time was before Butterscotch ID. I spent money initially and it didn't show on this game. I contacted the Devs and they made it right incredibly fast. Seriously, these guys are the best out there. Play all of their games. Spend the tiny amount of money they are asking to support them. You won't be sorry. Thank you Butterscotch Shenanigans!
After purchasing it won't stop nagging to rate the game. Even after doing so, every time I get to base, it asks again... Please fix it... Otherwise it's 5 star game...
This is another great game from this developer. Don't bes fooled by the naysayer complaining about paying to make us of the in game perks by buttering up. It is totally worth it to support this fantastic indie developer. Also you get perks in this game and other games from their other studio offerings.
This game literally harasses you to buy in-app purchases. Every other room pops up an advertisement, and right after that the game asks you to buy it's Ad-remover, making you ex out of that screen too. It would be different if it wasn't so often, but every two rooms? Seriously? I would've bought it on my own after I played awhile, but it asked me so many times in the first 20 minutes that you've successfully ruined your own sale. Uninstalled.
Hard to stay alive using a touchscreen. This kind of game would be best with dual analog sticks or anything with physical buttons. The fact that the controls are touch based without any accurate feedback makes it really hard to stay alive. And therefore hard to keep coins to actually buy anything. Personally, I thought the first mini boss was more luck than skill. Albeit needing skill, the lack of accurate tactile feedback and missing a touch by a few mm can be catastrophic. A controller or the rise of accurate futuristic point vibration technology will definitely be beneficial to this game. A lot of (maybe most) people don't have physical extra controllers for their android device, so... Beat the 1st mini boss and that's it, kept dying too many times too quickly.
EDIT Thanks for the quick hotfix. It IS Fun. It's VERY hard to play + keep earning cash. The movement is Great, old-fashioned firing directions are hard to get used to. Got moneybag object - keep blowing up trees to slowly build up cash. Barely been playing 266 minutes - just discovered artifacts have to be Activated (I've been too busy dodging to notice - this will help). Three frogs is best with maybe the fully upgraded Elephant and full Goat. Laser Bee is Great - hope the next upgrade is even better. WOW - backed up cloudsave just after teleport - started playing as I threw up (not a bug - just amazing to see). After dying in 2nd Bossfight once again - the right-side boulder was open at home - didn't see until I'd gone through the top door - aargh (one floating head said something about fighting without dying) - oh well, back to the battle.
