Notifications broke with latest update, made the app crash (running Android 8.0)
Initial setup is working since December update.
Poor user interface, need 20/20 vision to read not suitable for impaired vision. Very basic. No metrics for detergent or conditioner levels on my appliance so you need to guess when it runs out. Wifi authentication stored in volatile memory so when the power goes off you need to faff on reconnecting the appliance to wifi. You need to press the allow remote start button to get remote control of the appliance every time you power it on. Think the designers need to go back to school as this is a poor attempt at HCI and user interface design. Essential features missing imo such as automatic delayed start. Programme duration control.
Finally figured out why WiFi didn't work. The app or appliance can't figure out non-ASCII characters in SSIDs, so I had to create a separate WiFi network just for the washer. 🙄🤦♂️ Also, notifications haven't worked recently or are just really slow, as in I often get the notification an hour after emptying the washer.
Worked on a Samsung s8 but very difficult to get it connected. Had to try several times before it worked.
The problem with this app is that it doesn't work with new Android phones because the app can't verify the wifi credentials during the SAP process
