Ratings and reviews

The functionality is quite poor, the homescreen doesn't suggest that you continue where you left off, the mobile, and PC apps don't appear to sync with each other meaning you have to remember exactly where you were when you last watched part of a series. A bug on the app means it won't play in landscape mode - it stays in portrait mode. Maddening.

Not a patch on the older Sky+ app, which is much easier to use, the TV guide is much more comprehensive, and I can record to my sky box when I am away from home so that I can watch when I get back in the comfort of my own home. SkyQ does not do this. Yes, being able to watch programs when I'm not home is ok, but I don't often need this and often can't use it anyway as I travel a lot, and it blocks content when you are travelling abroad so sky go is useless then anyway.

Honestly it's so behind the times it's disappointing! No subtitles, you can't skip the adverts, it doesn't automatically go on to the next episode when watching a series and you can't skip or rewind something when watching in a pop up window. All these things are stuff others like Netflix have had for ages. The lack subtitles in particular is at best disappointing but tbf it's quite disgusting in this day and age that the deaf aren't catered for 🤷🏻‍♀️
