Rubbish Awesome update................... which still does not work on the Galaxy S3 or Note 10.1........Well done! Sky why do you bother, just keep raising and taking subscriptions you seem to be very good at that!
Since the March 17 update the app constantly freezes to the point it is not watchable, now swapped to kodi to watch sky feeds which don't hang. You need to get this sorted. It used to be a brilliant app. New layout is good, however a simple SD / HD program selection would reduce the time it takes to find programmes.
Appalling. Since the update (March 2017) the app stops constantly and is peppered with adverts at totally random times during programmes. Useless and annoying. I pay a lot of money for my subscription and expect better than this. Sort it out Sky.
Up until update all good, would give 4.5 out of 5, not now I give 0. Since new update can't watch live tv, keep getting error code 14. Spoke to sky complaints they tell you to remove device and uninstall app and start again but done all that and in different ways and nothing works. No joy at sky community either. Do sky know how to fix and are they actually looking into this or is this a way of sky pushing you to pay for multi room?
Great app to manage your sky box, sync with EPG & Planner on Skybox. Updated to 6.0.3 (New navigation and design; Full 7-day TV Guide; Remote Record/Download; *After updating to this version of the Sky Go app, any downloaded programmes will be deleted from the device*) on 2017.03.12 from 6.0.2 (New navigation and design Full 7-day TV Guide Remote Record/Download) on 2017.02.25 from 18.104.22.168 (no new info on Google Play Store in "What's New": "bug fixes & stability improvements" is not very informative). On HTC One [m7] Vodafone 4g, Android 5.0.2, Smart Launcher 3.24.19F(beta).
Pathetic. I have never felt strongly enough to leave a review about any app before but this latest update is worse than useless. Sky, are your developers still in primary school? How on earth did you conclude this dross was in any way acceptable for your paying customers? The older version was performing perfectly fine but you forced me into doing this update by stopping the older version. As I'm clearly not alone in my views I'll give you a short time to come to your senses before I too stop my subscripton.
The app was generally ok except for the most recent update which has rendered it useless, I have a Sony Experia tablet running android 4.1.1 & now cant watch any downloads, anything on demand or anything live!! Repeatedly get an error message saying "Sky Go encountered a problem & was forced to close". Pathetic, ridiculous, never had a problem with this app or any other previous to now. Please fix this sooner rather than later
