Doesn't seem to want to work with my new note 8. Can't log in so can't download anything.
This app and service is terrible. When setting up, the app directs you to manually go to the phone settings menu to set permissions, it's the only app I've ever seen that requires this. And when I actually got in, it turns out that although I'm a Sky customer, I'm not actually eligible to watch anything beyond a couple of trailers for some reason. It's impenetrable.
Mainly wanted to use for downloading and watching offline. Frequent crashes seem to render this app useless. Will try for another month otherwise I'm cancelling my subscription and going back to Netflix. Useless so far.
Been using Sky Go for years now, but every time it updates it crashes and I can't use it. I spend hours on Saturdays waiting around for my daughter while she is at her drama classes, a perfect time to catch up on my favourite programmes, but yet again I am left hanging! Just thankful I have Amazon Prime too! Sort it out Sky, I'm sick of this now!
Don't get me wrong, this app is my addiction, but lately I'm having a lot of issues with crashing and having to restart, and particularly annoying sounds cuts - the sound will cut out for 3-5 seconds, I know it's not much but it happens often and it's extremely noticeable, and its only on the app as i have no problems with sound on the web version. It's a shame because the idea is great, but the execution not so much. Maybe focus less on appearance and more on functionality and being user friendly.
Constantly crashes and doesn't pick up a programme where I left off so need to watch the 5+ adverts before I can skip to where I was. Then I skip and it crashes AGAIN. Totally unusable as it becomes absolutely tedious uninstallin and then reinstalling the app. It isn't WiFi connection problems either as every other streaming app, Netflix, now tv, Amazon, on my tablet works fine. Massive company that has failed miserably
Truely useless. Barely ever works. One minute i can use it the next im not a sky customer apparently or there's technical issues, connectivity problems on full 4g. Frustrating
