After trying many video players this one is still the best. +More features +Playes almost all formats +Fastest load time +Doesn't skip and stop +Great quality playback -Needs more support for YouTube... default to highest quality. only see 1080p -Dated theme -Better Chromecast support The best and better than others.
All in all a great video player. I use it to play music videos in the car and have it set for hardware decode but it doesn't repeat the video correctly. Sounds would play but no video on both hardware modes. Installed on a Samsung Tab A 10.1.
I decided to upgrade from the free version to this version for the chromecast option. Unfortunately, this doesn't work. I have tried many different formats including mp4. I found other free players that work with Chromecast that do work. I now use the free Chromecast plugin for the ES file manager. I wished I had saved my money. Don't pay for this. Still not working years after purchase.
Why isn't "video enhancer" mode usable on the S8/Note8 in this paid version? The free worsion works just fine but not this paid version for some odd reason!
Works great with most local files. Seems to have trouble with some of the newer codecs people are using for videos in mkv files. Network files... it only supports SMB v1. Booo.
There's an issue with subtitles - on a video series I'm watching the subtitles have a background color behind the text instead of just having a transparent background - this only happens on BSPlayer and isn't an issue with other Android players I've used, nor is it an issue on PC. Disappointing
- added support for chapters
- when playing in background playback rate was not remembered, fixed
- sometimes item was removed from library, when folders with same name existed on different storage devices, fixed
- bug fixes
