Good little app, does what it says. Handy to check orders, package and usage. I have television, phone, broadband, BT Sport and two mobiles, all reported correctly. Occasionally on first access to a link reports poor Internet, then on 2nd attempt is fine so it seems like an initialisation delay only.
No internet detected if using my wifi. Everything else is ok even works on standard mobile data. Just not home WiFi. WiFi off and works. View bill info shows for like 1/10 of a second then shows error. It's related to dns. When I use my own dns server it has the error. BUT every other app and system works perfect.
Update on NO INTERNET CONNECTION. This app runs perfectly OK on my samsung TAB S2, but NOT on my galaxy S6. After some investigation, I discovered my S6 Phone runs ADGUARD on a VPN connection. My Samsung Tablet, Tab S2 is running on Proxy on Port 8080, as it doesn't like VPN connection! When I DISABLED the ADGUARD app on my android s6 phone temporarily, Lo & behold, the My BT App WORKS. So folks, a workaround is ..?TURN OFF/DISABLE temporarily, any AD BLOCKING APPS you have on your device to use the MY BT App! Now I'm looking at adding the MY BT APP to a whitelist/exception list, in order to get around this. .......ps. Found if I go to 'General Settings' of ADGUARD App, and untick the 'Block Ads in All Apps' box, this works for me.... ...Hope this may help. It works for me! Ex-BT Engineer of 36yrs svce.....
The internet area checker doesnt work. In sat here with no internet on my laptop but tge phone app says nothibg wrong in my area. Its rubbish. Bt internet infinity 2 cuts out every day at least once every 6 hours. The hub 5 doesnt reach my upstairs and im not living in a mansion. Going to phone them and hopefully not get through to the middle east.
Utterly useless. Sorry you aren't connected to the internet or have a very poor connection. Right. So everything else is connected fine, but this piss poor app is telling me otherwise. And even if it decides that I'm connected, I STILL CANT SEE MY FKING BILL YOU MORONS. Sort it out. RESPONDING TO BT's reply; Yes of course I am and yes, I have tried when I'm connected to various WiFi networks AND 4G.
Always says there is no internet or very poor. On fast Wi-fi so shouldn't do this. Please fix as useless without.
