App works well Because I am an ee customer I get bt sport for 6 months and do enjoy using the app. I cannot use chromecast but that is part of the free deal and not an app problem. The app is really good overall, never had an error streaming. Only thing I think needs tweaking is the interface to make it a little more streamlined. Also the half time football talk...lets just say sky wins in the the people they have on...
Mediocre It's ok but you can't stream to your TV if your an app only customer. I will discontinue after the free period due to this. It's interesting to see bt only respond to positive reviews on here. A bit of a cop out I think especially for a company of that size.
Ok....BUT Its ok but lacks something rather standard on many apps these days...GOOGLE CAST...why oh why is this feature missing? Particularly considering the cost (which is extortionate anyways) of subscription add Google cast... so i can watch it on my tv... and I'll 5 star it... shame on you BT tbh
OK app but no chromecast support? What is the point in having bt sport if you can't cast enable it to your TV!? Ok yes I could just use the Google home app and it will work but then my phone will become unusable. Just because I get bt sport from my EE account why am I not allowed to have the cast enable icon so I can use my phone....
OK so I like alot that's on the app and sports on bt but the app is buggy. Everytime I turn my Bluetooth on bt sports tells me it has a problem...OK but it wasn't even open. Also casting only works occasionally. Most of the time it's fine but you go to the app. Set it to cast and press play on a replay of a football match and it just plays on the phone. So much potential but it's just annoying most of the time
Runs well, but frustrating to use. Pausing is not possible in the app and it's incredibly frustrating. I can't pause, respond to a message or anything else without having the program restart and having to find my position again. Finding my position is an imprecise art at best. I use the app to catch up on UFC and with event lengths around 3-4 hours, a millimetre either way means the difference between a few rounds. To find the catch up program I have to navigate through UFC news, meaning I'll probably spoil the results.
