At the end of the day I get the convenience of being able to check out a book at any time, and any place and that's pretty awesome. The app makes it easier to find a book by genre, which is nice too. That being said, there are two things that I miss/want/wish for and those are: I wish bookmarks would sync across all devices, and support for e-ink Kindles.
Huge strides have been made with this app, and each update seems to (minus a few backslides) make it better. I like that it usually opens to my bookshelf now, and the issue with not holding the place in the audiobook seems fixed. I do like browsing in this app more than in Overdrive. A fourth star would be added if the sleep timer was set at time intervals instead of "end of chapter" because lately I've listened to a lot of books with 3-5 minute chapters, and even with "end of next chapter" that's less than 10 minutes.
Excellent tool for a busy mom This app is changing my life. Specifically the instant access to audio books has made my reading goals attainable and my time cleaning and cooking in the kitchen enjoyable. Suggested improvements: I would like to see the app include a history function for checked out, holds and wish lists. Having this feature would prevent me from losing or forgeting titles.
I love the ability to check out books from anywhere. However there are some improvements I'd love to see. Right now the bookmark moves to the beginning of the chapter rather than the page you marked. Second I would love to have t he ability to bookmark several different books so I can go back and forth between the books I have checked out. Good app just needs so improvements in the bookmark area.
Great concept, poor and unreliable execution If this were the only ebook reader on the market, or even the only one that could work with libraries, it would be a godsend. But it's Unable to read some books that I check out, navigation is slow and clunky, and searching for books is painful. I hope they improve the user experience.
Terrible downgrade from overload Miami library switched from overload to this. No way to read books on my kindle and the audio playbook is atrocious. It crashes randomly and shows no progress. I have no idea how far into this audiobook I currently am nor how much longer I have until the book is over. The lack of playback speed options is a huge oversight as well.
Corrects issue where titles on hold and wishlist did not appear for some users.
Miscellaneous bug fixes and stabilization.
