BT is dire at home. 76 Mbps fibre paid for.... Reality 100Kbps (kilo bps) usually. Wifi hotspots... App fails 90% of the time. Useful for 10%. BT are not interested/capable of resolving. Avoid BT. And please don't give it your generic "sorry you didn't like it" babble... Just fix the technical issues... millions of folk have taken the time to let u know your system is poor at best.
You have as much chance of this connecting and staying connected as you have getting the truth from an MP. Sold as an advantage with infinity broadband. Come on BT sort it out Three years on and no better, inconsistent and poor connection Update: May 2017 Still useless, if it does manage to connect automatically, it has poor connectivity and drops out frequently Again no benefit in having this free if it does not wok
A long suffering 'user' of this app, I've finally needed to write a review. Connects me without fail to my home hub while I'm in the house, how good is that (not). Outside its a WiFi desert. "Stay connected at over 5m hotspots". Yeah right! BT have you compared the hype over this app in your ads, with the reality of the user reviews. At best its a prototype work in progress, but to market it as a given is questionable.
After login for the first time the app just crashes, then every time I start it. Very frustrating. I've sent the error reports, I hope this gets fixed soon. UPDATE - all issues that I experienced have been resolved - well done BT! A fantastic app.
Useful when out & about. But poor at home - it promises to automatically connect to home wifi when in range of my router at home - but it invariably fails to do so until prompted via settings on phone. I wonder if this is a bug that BT could sort out please?
As Useless As BT's CEO 3 years on it still can't connect to wifi. SKY and O2 Apps are far more reliable. BT just admit that you are rubbish at developing Apps.
