Ratings and reviews

Two points of improvement to reach five stars. - Moving cards around on the home screen feels really unintuitive. Sometimes they rearrange, sometimes they swap. It's clunky. - Loyatly cards are not very recognizable. The logos are small while the barcodes are big. But you can't use those barcodes if you have many loyalty cards next to each other. You have to click them anyway, so it would make more sense if the logos of the loyalty cards a bigger on the home screen, instead of showing barcodes.

Lately there's been issues with making payments.. First it was only with ideal.. when you were sent to the accept/decline window, it got stuck spinning the wheel and it wouldn't move forward.. You have to close everything and open the Bunq app to accept the payment that's waiting. Now it happens when you get a notification that a payment is waiting for you to accept. (For example a subscription that you don't have on autopay). Nothing goes as fluent and smooth as it used to..

V2: Simply amazing. Everything about it is just amazing. Excellent UI and UX, all the options you need - fast, responsive, superb. By far the best bank and banking app I've ever used. Thank you, bunq team! V3: You guys shot yourself in the foot with this one. Why would you put the "Trees saved" and "Time saved" right in the middle of the app? I don't care for this info whatsoever, yet I have to look at it every single time I access the app. It feels like lazy design, rather than simplistic design. The small card format for bank accounts and cards is anything but imaginative, especially compared to the visually appealing v2 look. When accessing individual cards, the + and "Settings" icons seem to randomly choose jurisdiction over what actions to offer. You could easily just skip that + icon and lay out the actions contained within it already on the screen. Instead, I have to do another click just be able to Freeze my card. This design looks like someone was just starting out learning React Native and added the simplest design elements just to make the app work. I'm very disappointed in the new design, huge step backwards. Beta test with 200 people, seriously? That's not Beta test. You can keep saying that it always takes time for people to adjust to new designs, but that excuse won't do here. Simply poor design and too much gamification going on. I loved bunq for its simplicity, I'm really not interested in using a banking app as yet another social media platform.

What's new

What’s fixed:
Some users were unable to top up a GBP Savings Sub-account from a GBP Local Currency account. We’ve fixed that.
Some users couldn’t see that the Switch Service was already active, and were prompted to start again. Fixed it.
Some frozen users were unable to open ticket links provided by the bunq bot. Works now.
The merchant website link wasn’t tappable during a chargeback process. All good now.
