Gameplay and controls:
During the game the two players face each others' battleships. The aim is to bring the life bar of the enemy battleship to zero and the winner is the first to blow their opponent up! Each battleship has four turrets. At the beginning these are all normal canons but can be specialised and upgraded throughout the game. The turrets swing through a 90 degrees angle automatically. The player can fire a canon by touching it. A fired canon needs to cool down for three seconds before you can fire again (during this time it will be greyed out). To hit the enemy's battleship the player has to time their tapping well in order to launch their missiles in the right direction. Rockets can stop other rockets by colliding with them. If two rockets collide, then it is the player on the same side as the collision who gets the game-cash for the collision. Players can buy turret upgrades from this game-cash every 60seconds (end of playround) on a special upgrade menu.
Each normal canon can be upgraded to one of four special turret systems. Once chosen these upgrades can't be removed or downgraded. Specialised canons can be upgraded twice to a higher level within their kind.
HEAT: The heat canon is a pure defence weapon that can't damage the enemy's battleship. Instead of rockets this turret sends out a special heat wave that can destroy multiple missiles.
MINI: The mini-gun canon launches normal rockets but has a shorter cool down time. This makes it possible to cause a rain-shower of bombs on the highest upgrade level.
STUN: The stun canon fires eletric bolts instead of missiles. These can't damage the enemy's battleship but can instead disable enemy turrets for a while.
CLUSTER: The cluster canon launches special rockets that split up on their way to the enemy ship, forming multiple normal missiles and causing therefore a lot of damage.
!NEW!: TORPEDO: The torpedo canon fires torpedos that go under water. They can't be stopped or bounced back.
!NEW!: BOUNCE: The bounce canon fires a shockwave that bounces back all normal missiles.

Hack-and-slash game behavior:
You control one single battle wizard and walk around quickly; having to kill every monster you come across. The game has a simplified attribute and skill system where you gain experience from killing monsters and when you've got enough experience you'll level up. When you level up you can spend two points per level on the three categories LIFE, MANA or DAMAGE. LIFE increases your character's lifepoints. You lose lifepoints if you get hit by an enemy. Note: When you lose all of your lifepoints the game is over. MANA is the spiritual power that is used to cast spells. Spending points on mana increases the total maximum mana you can have as well as the mana-auto-recovery-rate. Mana refills automatically over time. Note: If you have no mana you can't attack. The DAMAGE increases the damage your lightning bolts deal to enemies. Be careful: The price for a magic bolt is always the current damage in mana.
The graphics are old-school to look like the popular old handheld games. I think a good game concept doesn't need high class 3D graphics and I really love pixel art.
Touch wherever you want to walk or shoot. If you touch an enemy you will automatically start to fire.
Less talking more action::
I think I know that nobody wants to read instructions or see tutorials before playing. So I am not going to bother you with endless text-blocks that need to be clicked through to start the game or force you to learn the whole game before you play it. I tried to design the game so that you can just start right away. There are some advanced features - but it is ok to learn about them later in the game. You will see some from time to time.
No pay-to-win (EVER):
I really dislike pay-to-win. If players can "buy" an advantage I think it is not a game anymore. For me a game is a set of rules where each player has a common goal and an equal chance to win. I will not let anything ruin this. Also I want to reach as many players as possible. Therefore the game is free. In the future we might integrate design based in-app-purchases. So you may be able to buy more fancy dresses or more pets but those features will never have an influence on the game rules or outcomes.
User-based game and product vision:
My product vision is to add more and more features to Battle Wizard Attack. I want more level types; maybe generated, a campaign, the collection of gold and other items, more skills (maybe even skill trees) and in the far future hopefully multi-player gaming. So far the game only has the farm level. As soon as you kill all 100 skeletons they will respawn; stronger. As such, this is so far a never-ending game mode. You can only compare your highscore with other players. The total amount of defeated skeletons is your highscore and you'll need to become stronger to match the skeletons becoming stronger and faster too. I want this to be your favourite game. At the beginning you can choose to play 20 minutes, 40 minutes or 60 minutes. Compared to other "Cookie Clicker" games this game has limited game time so it is better compareable. You need to think and act strategic to reach the highest score within the given time. The combination of what to buy when, the ability to click or touch fast, the right choice of skills and knowledge about the game rules will bring you to the really high highscores.

There are two types of high scores: Normal Highscore (white) and Flawless Highscore (golden). This score counts up from the beginning of level one and stops as soon as you miss one golden sugar cube. If you miss one, the golden sugar cubes will turn white and although you continue running, you will now only be playing in Normal Highscore mode. Flawless Highscore is the more challenging of the two.
If you fall, you have two options: you can either restart from level one and try for a new high score(s) or you could repeat the last level you have played in practise mode. All sugar cubes will be light brown. As soon as you want to try for a better high score, just press retry and you will start from the beginning again.
If you connect to Google Play Service you can compete against other people and see your Google Plus friends' and public high scores.

There are three different difficulties.
Easy: Playtime 20 min.
Normal: Playtime 40 min.

The original German name of this weird bird is "Schnapstölpel". Because they are very unlucky birds, all Drinking Jays have become depressed; resulting in huge drinking problems. It is said that some Drinking Jays continuously fail to fly home so they become stuck in a never ending loop where they are forced to start over and over again.
Some people wear a Drinking Jay brooch as symbol of failure, some people wear it as symbol of persistence and the rest wear it as a symbol for whatever they want!
Touch anywhere to fly upwards a little. The Drinking Jay is always losing height and is about to crash so you need to control the flapping.
