Very versatile app once you get used to the interface. I would love to have an option to see the results of an entire class at one time (EX. Bobby averages 4 out of 5, brittany 3 out of 5 etc.) and an option to export the results to a csv file.
Wow! Bummer....font size on sticks is tiny now. Almost unreadable! Not sure what happened over the summer, but fairly unusable now. Used this app almost every day last year!! Tried deleting and redownloading, but no change.
Clunky There is no way to vuew a class overview, which makes entering grades time consuming as every student needs to be viewed individually. It is also annoying to have to switch screens to assess, rather than having grade choices as buttons (not drop downs) in a new screen. Class cards is better as neither problem exists, although the question stem bank here is a nice feature. Fix those two issues and I'll switch over!
Its working!!!! WAS: Used to work. Till android update This was my students and my favorite app to pick turns. Then after android updated it would not load classes of sticks. Please fix. If you do I am sure it will be 4/5 stars . (5 if you get it to say the names) UPDATE-- I don't know what the problem was- but since I got my replacement phone it has worked again. Perhaps it was a problem with my phone (and it was a good thing that I dropped it when I did). My students love to shake the phone to pick their friends' names. I would highly recommend this app---- but I would still love it to be able to say the names out loud. :)
I'm sorry, but if you have to input each student manually, rather than being able to import (Android version), than that's poor design, especially given that this is supposed to support teachers -- who already have a minimum of extra time.
Everyone I set up a class it won't let me open it or use the app anymore :(
Stick Pick is now available for Android. Portrait support for devices with displays less than 7". Portrait and Landscape support for devices 7" and larger.
