I downloaded this game despite the bad reviews. I wanted to see for myself how the game is. You know something? Its not that bad!! It's kinda fun. And I only played it for 20 minutes so far. I already defeated over 50 ninjas in one turn. Use the rapid fire approach. The more stars you have flying through the air toward the opponent, he will keep dodging your fire and not throw, and the better the chance you will have of hitting your opponent, as well as deflecting their stars. Try it!
Unlike the other games they have like archers or spearman this game is way to hard to control! Half the time the CPU player one shots you before you can even throw a star! It's a shame because this could be fun if it wasn't so one sided and hard to control!
The controls for aiming are counter intuitive. The y-axis is inverted and throws me off. I think it would be better if the y-axis wasn't inverted or at least give players the option to change it. Also, when changing hand style it would help to keep the character opposite the aiming hand. It's difficult to see when to dodge with my thumb in the way of the character.
New weapons or armor do nothing. You pay for "better" weapons and they perform no different. A waste of time. No progression. Worthless.
Game would be fun if it wasn't so 1 sided, they throw stars SO much faster than we can do of course you die pretty quick. Fix the BS gameplay and it would be worth playing.
The latest update appears to have made this playable. It's a great concept and I'm glad it seems they dialed back the difficulty for the first few opponents.
