Easy to use and plays nicely with podcast and music apps. I finished the last workout in less than the advertised time. But then it just left me hanging, wondering whether I'd really run 5k or that included the warm up and cool down. And motivation gone! I don't really want to run 10k, it takes too long, I'd rather improve my speed at 5k. So, totally satisfactory, does the job, but am looking for another app now.
I haven't run in a little over a decade. This app is great at easing you into it, even as a beginner. The only negative thing I would have to say is that it doesn't incorporate warm up stretches or cool down stretches. Stretching out your muscles is really important to avoid injury and to properly prepare your body for the activity.
I'm starting my road back to taking care of my health by getting back into running. Already by the time I've written this review I've reached the end and graduated to running 5K under 30 mins! I am really happy with this App. It's clean and simple. Love that it lets me play my music alongside the voice notifications. Music player is a bit limited but I can forgive that for now.
Great app. Seemless integration with Google Play Music or my podcast app. The C25K voiceover actually pauses the music/podcast rather than play over it, and then unpauses. I love it! My only problem is every so often the voiceover speeds up and sounds like someone inhaled a bunch of helium. Fortunately, the rewind function lets me back up to hear the instructions again if I need to. I also love the lock function. No pocket dialing for me!
Having never been a runner, I love this app. Easy to use, baby steps you into craving your run time. I needed something to do with my extra energy from Thriving so I decided this was what I wanted. Starting small, but hoping to get in a marathon by my 40th b-day ( 2.5 years away). Take a chance and find your destressor in running.
I've used it twice and on both occasions it stopped working. First time on run 3 so I had to switch to timing myself as I was too far into the session to start again, and the second time in the 5 minutes cool down at the end. I want to use this, but not have to worry that the app has crashed without me noticing!
