Great motivator My friend and I set a goal to run a disneyland 10k in a year. We are not runners at all. We figured we would try with the 5k trainer and work up to the 10k. This is great. Love using it with rock my run music app. The notifications to start running /walking are perfect because who wants to keep looking at the time and figure it out while they are about to die? I did upgrade to the pro just so I wouldn't have to wade through all the ads. Disneyland Star Wars and 10k here we come!
Great app I'm half way through the app. Instructions are clear. You can have your own music in the background. Never thought I could get this far! ***Update*** have just finished the app. Had to repeat a week around week 5 as I found the jump from running for 8 mins to 20 to be a little hard. But I persisted and am very happy with how I went. NEVER EVER thought I'd be able to run 5km! The only improvement would be 5 minute time sounds so you know how far/long you have to go and a GPS tracker.
Goodbye Couch Potato I thought my running days were behind me -way behind. But after week 1, I think this is the perfect app to get me off my ass and ready fitness-wise for my upcoming ski trip. And hell, I will probably start running races again. I forgot how good it felt to 🏃. ..
Easy to use Easy to set up and use and get back into running. The interval training makes it easy to begin jogging again, limiting the chance of straining something which is easy to do when starting. The start up screen is a little confusing since it is designed to make you buy additional parts of the app rather than use it. I paid to remove the ads making the app easier to use since they obscured the buttons and also developers need to earn money.
The app has a beautiful interface, and boasts an ability to integrate with most music apps. The settings permit you to turn off the voice and change the app skin. My only issue is that you can't view time left without unlocking your phone, but that's just nitpicky.
Shed tons of weight I hate running, but wanted to improve my endurance for kendo. After using this app for 4 months I lost 20 pounds and shaved 3 minutes off my original mile time. I recommend it to anyone out of shape or interested in starting to run.
