Phenomenally useful, a little buggy This program makes running suck a lot less, seriously. Overall the app is great and very useful. However, there are definitely some bugs: I still haven't gotten it to link with MyFitnessPal, I have to record my runs with Strava and add it that way. Also it crashed once while I was running, so I just kept running, and running... That sucked. When I got it going again it had lost all my progress for that run.
A walk of 1000 steps has to start somewhere Thought this was going to ease me as a non-runner into running but no - trust me, this running thing is not for the faint hearted. The app is easy to follow, voice prompts are audible and clear, didn't like the social media "I've done.." bit at the end. Opted for this app as it's available on both iOS and Android and does the job 👍
This is awesome!! I am not a jogger and I found this to be an good, easy motivating way to start jogging. The only thing I don't like is that it doesn't give partial credit at all. I made it through 6 of the 8 cycles on my first day and ended the work out and then the next day it was like "ready to begin day 1?" And I was like "noooooooooo!" But besides that it's great. Breaking it up into chunks makes it easy for you to get through the whole work out.
Gets me off my couch! Normally it takes a lot to get me motivated enough to exercise at all, let alone run/walk six times around my block before sunrise. But, there you go. The thing works, man. Woman. Nonbinary person. Buy it.
First week I've only used this for a week but so far it's great. I've always tried running in the past but fizzled out after day two. This program is very user friendly and gives you clear goals to achieve making it more engaging than running on your own.
Shaving off time! I was already to muddle through a 5k, but I really needed something to help me feel motivated and goal-oriented even during a run. This literally breaks down each run, tells you what to do and for how long and you just do it. I also like that you can look ahead to upcoming weeks workouts. And I've shaved off a minute from my 5k time in 2 weeks. Great app!
