Buy e-tickets via the c2c Train Travel app. No more queues, just download your e-ticket in the c2c app, or from your booking confirmation email, place the barcode on the scanner at the gates and go! You can also save your e-ticket to your Apple Wallet. View your e-ticket in the ‘My Tickets’ section of the c2c app.

USE SMARTCARD FOR SEASON TICKETS & TRAVELCARDS
Travelcards, Flexi and other season tickets are not available to buy as e-tickets. However, you can still buy these tickets in-app and load them to your c2c Smartcard so you can still skip the queues and enjoy contactless travel.

What a shame. Used to work fine, was able to buy a ticket, load onto Smartcard and done. Now twice it gets you to the payment page then says you have timed out. My phone is saying this app was last updated in Mar 2023 - and there are no other available android updates at the moment. For an app to be efficient there should be regular fixes. Not only that - you have tried to avoid queueing only to find out you have to anyway.

app constantly stuck on uploading to smart card (which it wasn't asked to do). totally unusable. I uninstall and reinstalled. No change. now deleted.

ticked purchase OK, load onto smartcard appears OK, BUT East Tilbury IN barrier on the down platform does not always accept the smart card. So no checkin means some faffing about at Southend.

What’s new

You can now see how many spaces are free at our car parks by navigating to ‘Live Travel’, selecting ‘Stations’ and viewing the station information. Travelling to London with family? Our Family Travelcard is now available to buy through the app too.
