***If you like the aDialer app, please take a moment to leave a comment and 5 stars. Seems there's always those others who are quick to bash no matter what... and your comment would help to counteract some of those nay Sayers... (LOL)!
NOTE: All favorite contacts must use the "STAR" option in order to be shown via the aDialer favorites screen.
To add a favorite, open contacts and select the favorite (a.k.a. STAR) for each favorite contact. All new contacts must be saved as a Google contact type.
Hero & Eris users remember to use the "Small Device Settings" under preference.
Hi guys, hey unfortunately, No dialer app can actually take OVER the Android Operating System's Dialer. The only thing any Dialer App can do is collect the call information and then hand it off to the Android’s dialer. The Dialer app can initiate the call but once the call is in progress the Android’s default dialer takes over the call. I’m sure this is by design, because otherwise people would be able hack the phone by placing unauthorized calls without the user’s knowledge. (Does that make sense?)
However, what most of us do is simply replace the phones dialer ICON with the preferred Dialer App’s icon. This works great for standard Android phones, because all you have to do is simply drag the default dialer icon into the trash and then move the Dialer App’s icon in its place. The only caveat is that HTC phones won’t actually let you delete their dialer icon. (UGH)
If you have an HTC, the only thing you can do is add the aDialer icon on your home page.
I hope this helps to explain.

Keypad-Mapper 3 makes it easy for you to record the GPS coordinates of house numbers for adding them later to OpenStreetMap. This app is the 3rd generation KeypadMapper available for the OpenStreetMap community, and improves on the older generations.
★★★ Features: ★★★
▶ records house numbers
▶ saves address data
▶ takes GPS photos for entering in JOSM
▶ indicates the GPS reception strength of GPS and GLONASS
▶ exports the recorded information
★★★ Why record house numbers for OSM? ★★★
Free navigation software requires free map data, and although the free OSM data provides a good basis for navigation programs, they are only as good as their data. This is why house numbers are essential to building a reliable map database in OSM.
With this app anyone can help compile house numbers for the OSM database by simply installing the app! Not only is it contributing to a great open source project, it’s also fun, entertaining, and easy to do while you’re walking the dog or out for a stroll. The collected data can be added directly to OpenStreetMap. All you need to do is set up an account at www.openstreetmap.org, edit the acquired house numbers, and upload the data to OSM. After only a few minutes, the world’s new acquired house numbers are displayed in OSM.

To create shortcuts follow the steps below (screenshots are provided).
1. Add the widget to the home screen. This is done by long pressing on the home screen, selecting 'Widget' from the menu provided and selecting 'USSD Dialer' from the list of widgets.
2. Enter the 'USSD Code' on the configuration screen. You can also enter a 'Friendly Name'. If 'Friendly Name' is provided, it shows up on the home screen, otherwise the USSD code is shown by default.
3. Click 'Save' to place the configured widget on the home screen.
Clicking 'Cancel' at anytime on the configuration screen does not add the widget to the home screen.
Create multiple instances of the widget on the home screen one for each USSD code.
Note : The widget supports USSD codes in the format prescribed by Mobile Application Part 1. If USSD codes for your service provider are not supported, please provide feedback.
Your call will show up on the receiving end as something like “Private Call,” “Anonymous,” “Blocked Number,” etc… depending on who provides your phone service.
Private Dialer allows you to easily dial using *67 feature offered free by most carriers, without any extra effort.
No more hassle of locating the number you want to privately dial in the phones contacts, then manually type in *67, then try to remember the number and manually type it in too.
Private Dialer reduces that whole process down to just a few quick selections.
- No codes to remember
- No extra typing
- Just quick and easy when you need it most!
**Your phone number can’t be blocked when calling toll-free (i.e. 1-800) and emergency services (i.e. 911)**
*check with your carrier before using to see if they offer free *67 private calling*
More from developer
It's extraordinarily simple and intuitive to use:
1. Touch down a pre-set edge of the screen;
2. Move your finger towards the center of the screen so the pad will emerge;
3. Release your finger on a specific slot to action.
That's it! This will bring your multitasking to a new level:)
★ A pad can hold a mix of apps, shortcuts, bookmarks, contacts etc. With widgetpad add-on, it can even launch a widget from anywhere!
★ This is not a home app, your home key preference is kept (works with all 3rd party home apps like Apex Launcher, Nova Launcher, ADW Launcher, Go Launcher EX etc.)
★ The app under SwipePad keeps running: no interruption
★ Memory & battery friendly
★ "DIRECTLY CALL PHONE NUMBERS" permission is required by Android system dialer shortcut. So you can set up a quick dial portal, and call your favorite contact with a single swipe.
Ideas and suggestions are welcomed:)

NOTE: this is not a standalone app, it enables the features in SwipePad like add more pads, change pad size, back up and restore.
You can assign different hotspots on your phone screen to different pads: one for favorite apps, one for contacts, one for bookmarks, etc. If you have a big screen and thinking about putting more than 12 slots together, this add-on is also the way to go.
MoreSpace enables the backup of all pads in SwipePad 0.9.8+
MoreSpace enables making portal groups in SwipePad 0.9.10+
* SwipePad 0.8.0+ required
Dynamic Pads will enable 3 automatically filled pads:
1. Frequently contacted
2. Recently contacted
3. Recent tasks
★ With a single swipe (touch down, move, release), you could open quick contact window or switch to another running app.
★ Hold and release on a slot will let you edit the contact or give you context options of your recent task: force close/uninstall what you are running, going to an app's market page to give ratings and so on
SwipePad 0.9.0+ required
