Love using this app.The meditation sessions for different purposes are really beneficial, with the 7 day sessions, learning and understanding more as you go on. Continual updates feel like you're getting your money's worth. My favourite are the sleep stories, I use them nearly every night!
This is a high quality product. I've been meditating for decades, and this app refreshed my practice. Also, I have trouble staying asleep and the sleep stories help me fall back to sleep when I wake at 3AM.
Wonderul app. Lots to choose from in terms of sessions. I absolutely love the peaceful background sounds you can choose from as well. The picture quotes that come from every day that you meditate are super motivating and I look forward to them everyday. Overall 10/10
Finally, I have a way to remember to meditate. So many wonderful options. Tracks how often I meditate. Not overbearing at all. Just a gentle nudge every day. First time I have actually enjoyed an app. Love it.
I've got pretty terrible anxiety, and after three days of using this app I'm already feeling less frantic and more centered. My only issue is that I can hear the break in the background sounds as it restarts. Minor gripe, and the rest of this beautiful app more than makes up for it. :) Edit: have now bought a year's subscription, pricey but I think it's well worth it. I'm actually spending a decent quantity of my waking hours feeling happy! :) Edit2: app layout has changed and it's tricky to find specific meditation sessions. However, if you don't have a specific session in mind when you start, the new layout is pretty helpful. An 'all sessions' tab would be a good addition.
I am a psychologist who recommenda meditation & mindfulness often. I have found the Calm app to be a brilliant tool for my own practice, as well as being brilliant for the children & young people I work with. So much is available free that you get to try a lot of activities before deciding to buy. Cannot reccommend this anymore highly!
