An incredible gift I started dabbling in meditation about six months ago. It was difficult to do and stay persistent. When I discovered this app I was introduced to simple yet challenging tools that enhanced my practice. I'm still getting the hang of it but I look forward each afternoon to the incredible gift that is mindfulness and meditation. This app is worth every penny and I can't imagine life with out it now. Thanks Calm for helping me remain present in my own life. Now bring your attention back to the room...;)
Love it! I have always been interested in meditation, but unable to stick to any practice. I love how many options there are, and the guidance is amazing! I look forward to my meditations every day, and even use it on my breaks at work. The best part: my four year old loves it too, she uses the bed time stories to go to sleep, and the calm sessions too:)
I love this app so much and I was happy to upgrade and I am thrilled with the value I am getting. The meditations are perfect. There is enough to keep you on track but not so much that it is intrusive. There is a large variety of meditations and so far I love them all. The interface is lovely and very calming. I often leave one of the background scenes going at night when I sleep because they are so calming. I love that I can use the app on my laptop as well as my mobile devices (and I have found that it runs perfectly on everything). It is awesome that the meditations can be downloaded and played offline! The only tiny thing that I wish they would change is that the bell sound in some of the meditations is a bit loud and startling. I wish they had a bell sound that was more mellow. That is is very minor problem. Other than that, I think this app is perfect.
Fantastic app I am new to mindfulness and I found the flexibility of the meditations on this app to be really helpful. When you only have 3 minutes there are 3 minute meditations. When you have 30 minutes there are longer ones too. I really like the diary part that keeps track of your meditations as well. I can add sessions I've done outside of the app and then see how many times I've meditated in a month. This helps build the habit and I find time to meditate just so that I don't lose my streak!
Helps so much! Have had panic attacks/anxiety and depression for years. This app helps me so much. I use the app everyday to meditate. And I love the Daily Calm feature. It has lowered my anxiety levels considerably. The subscription is well worth the price, there are a great selection of options! My therapist recommend this to me, and she was right!! Love this app! I would also recommend the Calm book, its wonderful too.
Has Really Helped with Stress and Sleep I have a very stressful job when I need to practice compassion on a daily basis . A coworker recommended Calm. I was only sleeping 5 hours a night, and it's also really helped with that, too. However, I sometimes find the vocal fry meditation leader to have a bit too much vocal fry. I tried to get my husband to try Calm using headphones, and he burst into hysterical laughter. He said he thought the voice was too funny for him to continue! Other than the fry, I really like her tone and voice. Great app
