If you are a potential small business do NOT trust this app and it's ability to take payments. The Bluetooth decides when it wants to work and some times the app will crash in the middle of a payment leaving the person who is taking the payment unaware if the payment actually went through or not. It's a constant problem with our app and swipers. This app has already lost us more than a couple of customers and some payments that should have gone through but did not, losing us money. It's absurd.

This USED to be a good app. No longer; the recent version makes you stop in the middle of EVERY transaction to have to select a hard wired card reader. What's worse, the Swift B200 Bluetooth reader simply will not work with this app. It never gives an option to read a chip, only swipe it. My card provider has sent me two different known good readers, and neither will read a chip on an Android, an iPhone or an Android tablet. If you can use something else, do so. This is is garbage.

Swipe Simple is very problematic due to the readers constantly losing connection. You have to locate the reader within the app with every transaction which is a huge pain in the ass in a fast paced environment. Swipesimple has sent us updated readers twice saying that they will fix the connection issues. Nope! Same exact problem every time. Heres the deal... Swipe Simple needs to set their equipment up for a constant bluetooth connection when the App is open. Time to look elsewhere!!!
