Nothing works on app. Won't let you verify email so makes all the "features" useless. Called customer service and was told they'd make a note of it and hung up on me. Wow, what a joke!
I can't verify my email to do anything with. It keeps saying an error occurred and try again later. I will be switching to a different online banking system.
I can't verify my email address to utilize any of the features. I have tried two different email addresses, it says it has sent but neither of them have any emails from greendot. Please fix!!!
a block was put on my account without reason and now whenever i attempt to call it tells me the block with remain until i send them the documents requested. i dont even know what documents are requested and i cant get through to a representative.
Is something wrong with this app? It used to give the option to send money to someone and now the send option is missing!
I cannot imagine why anybody's putting bad reviews. Here's my experience with Green Dot over the last six or seven years: I have used GreenDot for direct deposit for the last 3 or 4 years. I get my paycheck generally a day before everybody else's deposits hit. I pay my house payment from it, all of my bills, connected to my PayPal, and I spend enough to avoid their monthly fee. I don't have the time or energy to go through reviews to figure out what it is everybody's complaining about. It's really pretty simple, your money gets put on, you spend your money. Yes there are fees involved. The only fees that I am aware of are ATM fees (normal for ANY banking card), $5 to load money if you have to load cash on your card, and their monthly fee, which I could not even tell you what it is anymore since I've never had to pay it. My GreenDot does not cost me a penny to use. I'm quite happy with it. So I'm going to guess most of the negative reviews are just user issues and not the card service itself.
