I own a scala headset pro have had it a few years from new works great & has never let me down once, my passenger & myself can chat for a few hours before the battery life goes. Installed this app thinking that Scala would be able to make older bluetooth headsets compatible with the app but no? It is not supported? It is almost time for a new headset but will think twice before I purchase another Scala unit!
Now doesn't work at all... Incompatible device?? Have ensured firmware is up to date and reinstalled app, but to no avail. Sensitivity needs to be addressed, better with a sliding scale rather than LMH options. Radio doesn't work at all! No way of connecting with other Bluetooth headsets of other brands seems short sighted... When working tho, clear sound although the mic is feint for others to hear me.
The problems have started to stack up and I'm not loving this app right now or the headset not sure which is to blame. Constant glitches and fustrating to use. The app is not bad visually but needs a bit more function just slightly. This device can be confusing enough to use when half if not more of the funtions on the device and the app aren't working properly. This really should be seamless for the price point of these headsets. More Google/Android support is heavily needed.
Just a total faf. Sometimes it works great, then for no reason won't connect. Have to factory reset and re-pair. For what I paid for this device and the relatively little usage it gets, I seem to spend more time faffing with it than riding with friends who are all frantically resetting their devices too so that we can actual talk. The worst bit is, when it does work it is brilliant just that we want it to work more than it doesn't.
No point having hot dial in this app. As any ways you may call directly since u are already using the phone to access this app. Rather a short cut through q1 Devices for making these calls would make more sense.
It's great for providing easier way of changing settings on my G9 unit, when it works. I was able to get it to work months ago, prior to crashing my bike in October, but now I continue getting Connection Status saying "Non-Cardo unit". I've done the update to latest version. Unit connects great to phone via BT, but won't connect to app. I can't recall if there was a change in phone or because I reset the unit, but regardless, it's frustrating.
