Brilliant app. New lease of life for an old forerunner 410 which syncs perfectly. Having used for two years I'd suggest a less verbose interface option as once it's working you don't need to see every background process!
ANT+ is still a bit flaky, but the upload options work flawlessly and when Garmin et al. change their APIs, there's always an update out for the app really quickly - thank you
The app was working fine on my Garmin edge 800 until after my race last week when it has corrupted my Garmin somehow. It also killed my race file. Some research indica9ted it maybe because I had too many activities so I deleted them all. A painful factory reset later and it worked fine uploading my file directly to my laptop yesterday. Today a hard session at the velodrome, use Stuploader and surprise surprise corrupted Garmin and an empty .fit file. Really really annoyed because a lot of pain went into that session. I shan't be using it again and on this basis wouldn't recommend it either. Please note I have the paid version. Updated following comment by the owner. Turns out the statement connect directly to your garmin is miss leading. You need a power supply and a special lead. Had I known that I wouldn't have bothered purchasing anyway. Have updated to a 2 on that basis. In response to your recent comments then please update the description as this does not directly contact to Garmin. The description is miss-leading. I purchased the App 6 weeks ago. I may have had a version 4 years ago but I don't recall which is presumably why I bought it again.
Use this all the time. Upgraded to paid, bargain. Works very well on my S5 Neo with 910XT, which I'd have replaced by now if it wasn't for this app. I never have to switch on a PC or take a laptop on holiday. I just put phone into flight mode to transfer the data and then switch flight mode off to export. No need to restart app in between. Well supported by the developer. Thanks for this great app.
This app works really well. I use it with my Forerunner 305. After buying a cheap OTG USB cable it was pretty much install the app, plug in the Garmin and 'get activities'. The app lists details of each activity. If that's all you need there's no need to export to Garmin Connect, Strava or whatever. However, I found exporting activities to Garmin Connect and Strava was easy. Using my Forerunner 305, I can also send an activity from the app, back to the Garmin as a course, which is useful. At present, in order to do this, you have to export the activity from the app, to a 'tcx' file and then send from the app to the Garmin. It's easy but you need to read the instructions first. Overall, excellent app enabling me to use my tablet instead of having to mess about booting up the laptop.
Game. Changer. Works great with my Galaxy S5 and Garmin 310xt. On workouts longer than 10 hours, you need to wait about 10 minutes for it to upload. Occasionally has kinks but they usually work themselves out if not email the developer and he'll work with you.
