I used to love this app, I used it with GoogleFit at first but just recently got myself a Fitbit Alta. The Carrot app will not allow me to connect with my Alta. The whole reason I got a Fitbit was because GoogleFit is inaccurate since I am not always carrying my phone. I hope you fix this or I may just uninstall and save the space.
No direct contact that I've found, so this review or other public forums like Facebook or Twitter seem to be the only avenues for reaching out to this vendor. This app was a 5 when I first used it a year ago. Brilliant concept. Encourages exercise through steps for rewards while supplying education on healthy eating and lifestyle choices. It's based on the concept that prevention reduces long term health problems. I chose my Scene card for rewards and after 6 months had 2 movie tickets so I could take my son on a well-earned movie treat. Not the fastest run, but enough to stick with it. Now Mystery March has rolled in and the mystery seems to be "Where did the points go?" It's a free app, so tough to cry about something that you didn't pay for. However, tough to see something so good now failing. I will no longer be advertising to friends and colleagues on how great this app is though I am hoping that reviews like this and the ones below will help turn things around. Come on Carrot team. Come back to being the app I advocated for.
I have a Google pixel (first gen) and this app is unable to connect to my Fitbit alta.
App won't connect to fitbit on my Samsung S7. It option to Allow authorization stays greyed out and you can only select "Deny".
I can't connect it with my Fitbit account, the allow button is greyed out and won't let me push it.
Since the most recent update it's not working at all. Lg g6.
