This is the basic application for connecting and communicating with a Bluetooth(R) v4.0 enabled CASIO watch.
Pairing your watch with a smartphone enables use of a variety of different Mobile Link functions that greatly enhance the smartphone experience.
The G-SHOCK Connected app also simplifies certain watch operations by letting you perform them on your phone screen.

Operation is not guaranteed for any operating system not listed below.
Even if an operating system has been confirmed as compatible, software updates or display specifications may prevent proper display and/or operation.
G-SHOCK Connected cannot be used on Android feature phones with arrow keys.

If the smartphone is set to power saving mode, the app may not operate properly. If the app does not operate properly with the smartphone in power saving mode, please turn off power saving mode before use.

What a great way to interact with a G-Shock. Makes setting functions like time, timers, alarms, light, etc so much easier. And -- you always have accurate time. I like it so much I'm looking into getting a second watch that uses the app. I'm not interested in a "real" smartwatch because who wants to plug in a watch every night. I WEAR my watch all night.

It's okay. Find your phone works reasonably. Need to test more/ harder scenarios. The biggest issue is that it can't tell the difference between driving and walking/running. But the 3-D app does map it out pretty accurately. I would suggest that G-shock probably create feature that allows the user to pause/ stop the the watch from logging down steps when driving. I would like to use it to map and log when I go on hikes.

This app requires a ton of personal data. I'm using it on an Samsung S10+, paired with GST-B400-1A. Why does it need access to my photos? Pairing was not as easy as it should have been. This app is also not intuitive. And it keeps bugging you to turn on the Bluetooth. I only want to make sure the timekeeping is accurate. I've disabled it for now. Will enable it when the timekeeping is not accurate.
